“No wifi not good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

The Riad is down a back street off the main square I'm the medina, a little scary for a first time visitor, the rooms are quite basic, not tv, and no Internet, I ended up not staying there and tey were okay with that I think in future I'll need to check trip advisor more closely

Positive:
1. Good location to stay. The riad is just 2 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna and within proximity to major attractions in Marrakesh.
2. Thank you to the ladies to clean our room neatly everyday!!
3. Quiet at night.

Negative:
1. Don't be fooled with the rating of this riad. It is NOT AS GREAT AS the rating show on this website. On our check out day, two reception staffs urged us to rate the riad's review all "excellent". We found this action is too much.

2. On the checkout day, we asked the receptionist help to call our preferred taxi driver. They pretended to call and quickly tell us that the phone call didn't go through. Instead, they suggested us to arrange airport transfer with the riad, which is triple times more expensive.

3. Breakfast was good but serving time too slow. The terrace cafe was empty, and all foods are ready made. However, still took them 20-30 minutes average to serve breakfast.

4. WIFI doesn't work all the time.

Room Tip: Choose upper floor rooms. Ground floor is too dark.

We stayed 3 nights and found that the location just minutes from Jemaa-el-Fna square. We had the Riad arrange an airport pickup and the driver was waiting for us when we got off the plane. Hammou greeted us and took us to the terrace for mint tea. Each night we would return from eating in the food stalls in the square or the many restaurants for a glass of wine on the roof terrace. Languages French, English, Arabic and maybe more. If I go back I would stay here again.

It is a nicely decorated riad very well located. The rooms have too thin walls so you hear everything. Bathroom smells. In general, a good place to stay but without much privacy. Bbreakfast was not particularly good, in fact I disliked it very much.

Very nice and quiet riad in the center of the Medina, two minutes away from the Jemaa-el-Fna square. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful, rooms are cosy and breakfast in the terrace is a must.

Room Tip: ask to see before if possible

We, Dutch couple with daughter and friend, are very enthousiast about L'Heure d'Ete and want to recommend it to everybody who wants a cosy place to stay near the Jema El Fna square. Very nice people, good rooms and a beautifull terrace for breakfast. Many thanks.
