Myself and my boyfriend booked two nights here but sadly only lasted one...
The hotel itself is fantastically beautiful and the staff were very helpful; but we were completely unaware that it is set right in the middle of the medina with only walking-access.
As a mid-20s girl (who even tried to dress as moderately as possible), we found this rather uncomfortable when returning from a night out at 2am as once we got out of the taxi we had to walk the rest of the way through the dimly-lit winding streets; and the locals were very aware of the fact we were tourists who weren't confident of our way, shouting and jeering at us, which made me feel really unsafe. There are also motorbikes whizzing down the alleys continuously which could easily catch you by surprise with an unpleasant bump.
On the way to our night out we also struggled to find a taxi for 20 minutes as not many drive down that way.
It was a similar set up during the daytime but due to daylight I felt a little safer.
Therefore, although inside the hotel is a reminder of paradise with it's lovely birds and fab swimming pool, I would only recommend this riad if you plan to chill at the riad during the evenings instead of going off out for a late night.
