“Ok to visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Had a private tour guide take us on a tour ofthe medina, one of the stops was this palace, it is actually beautiful and interesting to know how the harem works, however after having seen the Alhambra it is quite basic, obviously the comparison is not the best. Worth the visit.

“Wuao! It's a must see and enjoy with your own eyes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Beautiful high decorated cedar ceilings, great doors, 4 seasons garden, fountain, different quarters and their histories. The palace provides a kind of serenity and peace even though it was not at its glorious state. Most of monuments we visited in Marrakech were not well kept but at least they're still there for us to visit, touch, feel and admire.

“Beautiful for those who live arabesques, art & decorative haracter plafond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

This small place is definitely worth to see however I strongly advice to visit it either very early or just before the closing time which is 16:45 thus you can avoid bumping on people and destructive crowd. Ceilings are simply stunning having in mind both colours & design. It revokes Alhambra in structure and overall taste , Istanbul in design and ceilings of castle of Nizwa in Oman.
