“Fantastic and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

The staff and management at the Hotel Dar Anika cannot be touched. A friendly oasis in the "Real Marrakech" (i.e., not the Four Seasons part of town). My wife and I were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel was tranquil. Oh yes, and they ordered us a cake in celebration of our anniversary. Great roof deck bar as well. We loved it, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Book it and don't think twice.

From the moment you land in Marrakech, Dar Anika begins to care for you! A driver is patiently awaiting to take you to Dar Anika. No stress! Upon your arrival, you are greeted by warm hosts who seem to exist only to please you and help you to have a memorable visit. Refreshments as you check in, your luggage effortlessly delivered to your lovely room, Hammam and massage awaiting, and you may dine in or choose to go to any of myriad restaurants. No worries about a taxi! Just let the attendant know your wish and a reservation and driver will await you. Excellent tips on places to visit and great rate of currency exchange with no fee! We have never felt so pampered !

Room Tip: We did not have children with us so cannot rate this aspect. However I am sure they would do an equa...

The Riad is located in a fantastic location, and the Riad is beautiful. I absolutely LOVED it! They give you a warm welcome and the staff is amazing.

!The staff will go out of their ways to help you and service you. !

I think our choice of staying at this Riad made our trip way more magical and amazing rather than staying at a regular hotel. Their breakfast... omg...I miss it right now. It was amazing. All the food was amazing. Every recommendation they made to us in terms of restaurants, spas and places to visit turned out absolutely amazing.
To be honest, I have been to many hotels around the world...but this Riad is by far the best I have been to as they make you feel at home and their service alone deserves 5 stars!

Recently returned following a short stay in Marrakech. Was slightly anxious when the taxi pulled up outside an alleyway and announced we'd arrived however we were warmly welcomed into the riad by the manager, Samir and shown into a beautiful riad away from the hustle and bustle outside. We were given dates, tea and biscuits and then sat down with Samir to discuss the do's and dont's of Marrakech, advised on places we might like to visit and on some good places to eat. This allowed us to make the most of our time there.

The staff were very polite and friendly throughout our stay. They went above and beyond the call of duty in facilitating us. On our final day, we had a late flight so they provided us with a packed lunch as we were leaving which was very thoughtful. The hotel was clean and lovely and peaceful away from the busy streets of Marrakech. If we needed anything (e.g. An iron) it was provided promptly. The breakfast was also great.

The location was ideal. We were within walking distance of most tourist attractions.

We wanted to visit the Atlas Mountains and that was sorted immediately. We had a very good and friendly driver, Ali, who was very accommodating and polite throughout.

Overall, a great stay in a beautiful riad with lovely staff. The only regret was not having enough time in Marrakech to spend more time enjoying the riad. Would definitely recommend to others and go again in future.

Was here just for the night in a double room! I love traditional style riads as they are always so beautiful and much more homely than 4 star hotels filled with tourists!! Staff was quiet and shy but very polite and welcoming! Bed was comfy and the bath was huge!! Had breakfast on the courtyard downstairs which was delicious and very filling! the small pool is not heated but was still fine to dunk feet in and cool off! Views are not amazing on rooftop but its a nice place just to relax and have a drink and BBQ! I Very close to djemma el fnaa but once inside the riad you are not disturbed by the hustle and bustle and noise!

Fantastic location, excellent and attentive staff who are happy to accommodate any requests. The hotel is clean and beautifully presented. On arrival, Abu, the manager, helps you to make the most of your stay with helpful and knowledgeable advice to suit your interests. Dinner was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the near future.

Truly an oasis in Marrakesh! My friend and I arrived having a incident with a taxi driver in Marrakesh and the staff at Riad Anika were amazing, reassuring and wonderful. From the moment you enter you are looked after, given tips on where to go and what to do, local restaurants and many other tips. I usually stay in 5 star hotels so I have very high standards in terms of service and you totally get that here. It almost felt like there was a surprise around every corner - rose on arrival, packed lunch etc. We didn't actually have time to eat at the riad but we walked past another table and the food looked amazing. I would definitely go back to this riad!
