My second stay at this fabulous boutique hotel which can't be beaten for comfort, location, service and the best food we had whilst in Marrakech. Even tho the weather wasnt that great it was so nice to relax in the salon with all the comforts of home. The staff are so amazing and the food unforgettable please don't miss the opportunity of discovering this hidden gem, I guarantee you will be back for more.

Execellent and warm and carring service.

You must ordre dinner once at Dar Anika at Your stay as it is execellent.

We got all the help and advice for visits, tours, resturants etc. as we needed.

If You want to visit Marakech, Dar Anika will be a good part to make the stay in Marralech a succes.

We spent a night at Riad Dar Anika in April having arrived in Marrakech earlier on in the day. We were efficiently collected from the airport and brought to the door of the Riad. From that moment we received the most outstanding service imaginable: we were greeted in person and offered refreshments to relax. We were allowed to drop our bags early in the room where we discovered the most beautifully adorned room, decorated with rose petals and with a stunning basket of roses to celebrate our daughter's birthday that day. We went off on a guided tour of the Medina, arranged previously through the Riad and returned for evening dinner. The dinner was a wonderful experience, tasting so many different specialities; so much was provided that we didn't come close to eating everything on our table. To cap off a perfect evening, a cake had been arranged by the Riad for our daughter. The following morning, a generous breakfast was the icing on the cake. Seriously excellent service, outstanding attentive staff, wonderful surroundings and a beautiful and comfortable room: Book a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 3 nights at beginning of March with our mums as a surprise treat for them. Can't thank the staff enough for their warm hospitality & care. The little touches were lovely, all the staff are happy & helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the breakfast, mint teas & the great haria soup with homemade bread & cakes. Location is perfect & we did so much in a few days. Thanks from Debs, Ann & Margaret & me. Keep up the good work Dar Anika :-)

We arrived in Marrakesh airport to be met by a driver from the Dar Anika, who helped with bags and took us through the chaotic traffic of Marrakesh to the calm and beauty of this exotic Riad. After a welcoming mint tea, we were shown to rose petal covered rooms by smiling staff. The hassle of the journey evapourated in the scents of shower.
An extensive dinner followed with several gently spiced courses appearing under the tagines. We had arrived in some sort of exotic heaven ! Candles floated on the surface of the swimming pool, a muiscian played in the corner, but suddenly tranquillity was interrupted by drumming and singing as three ladies appeared to demonstrate their quivering hips ! Soon peace returned and we retired to the comfortable bedrooms their Moorish designs.
Breakfast was on the roof, surrounded by flowers in "ali baba" pots. Delicious pancakes and local bread accompanied eggs of your choice, a subtle yoghourt, fruit, juice - in fact almost anything one could wish for.
The next three days were spent on a desert Safari, organised by Abu the owner of Dar Anika. All went like clockwork thanks to excellent planning by Abu and his team. Back again in the comfort of the hotel we found out about the delights of Marrakesh Medina; everything is close by: the Bahia Palace the Jemaa El-Fna, carriages to take you round the city, restaurants recommended by Abu and the fascinating bustle of the passages filled with merchants selling all kinds of produce.
The staff are helpullness itself, they produce tea whenever you return tired from your shopping. The hotel exchange rate is competitive, everything is spotless, the pool is cool after a hot day, and we enjoyed being pampered immensely . Can I think of any negatives ? The Muezzin's call to prayer can disturb one's sleep, but that is what he intends to do !
I cannot recommend this small hotel highly enough.

We stayed at Dar Anika for 6 days, and it was really a very enjoyable experience! Located right in the Medina itself, it was an easy walk to the souk and Jemaa El-Fna, where you can take in the sights and sounds of the old city. In fact, the Bahia Palace and the El Badi Palace were just a stone’s throw away from the riad! The riad itself was clean and had a quiet and soothing ambience, which was much needed after being out in the busy medina. The manager Samir was extremely comprehensive with information about must-see sights and good restaurants. We had excellent service all the time, and every single person working in the riad was friendly and helpful. We also had dinner in the riad on the first night we were there, and it was simply sumptuous! In fact, it was one of the best meals we had in Marrakesh, which was saying a lot since we did eat at many highly rated restaurants like Dar Rizlane (which was disappointing and overpriced!). We were in Room 2, which was nice and large, but not well lit. Three other things made the room less than perfect for us: (1) the shower area was not enclosed which meant that the bathroom floor was always wet after we showered, no matter how careful we were; (2) the two windows in the room opened out to some random space where people could walk about, and that meant that we had to leave the windows closed all the time or we could have strangers looking right into our room; and (3) little skylights in a dome-shaped ceiling just above the bed was gorgeous, until we realized that it meant we could not sleep in since the skylights allowed light into the room. The skylights were painted white, but still let in quite a bit of light. So if you are the kind to sleep in, Room 2 is not for you! But the drawbacks of the room did not detract from the loveliness of the staff and the wonderful service they provided at all times. Furthermore, the owner of the riad, Abu, is wonderfully knowledgeable and enthusiastic about ensuring the best experience for his guests, and now organizes trips into the desert where you could sleep under the stars! We met some guests whose itinerary was planned by Abu – three days in the desert before coming to Dar Anika for another few days – and they told us it was an amazing experience because everything, from food to facilities to vehicles to guides, was just exceptional. So we definitely recommend Dar Anika if you are planning to have an authentic Moroccan experience!

From the moment we were picked up at the airport, Samuel and his team did an amazing job of making us feel right at home in their beautiful Riad in the Medina with perfect access to the Souks and Square as well as the street for car service or taxi to anywhere you wish to go. Don't worry if you are not sure where to go, because Samuel and the team will make great recommendations. We played 4 days of golf, and loved it, and the team planned our delivery to and from the golf courses every day, and dinner each night was based upon their recommendations, including a great Moroccaine meal in Dar Anika the first night. Everything was delicious and my wife and I were full for two days after that meal. The restaurants were all great recommendations and variety each night. We spent several days strolling the souks right from the Riad and contributed well to the local economy and bought some great treasures to remember our second trip to Marrakech. About half way through the week, we had the pleasure to meet Abu, the owner, and it is clear that the warm hospitality and great service at Dar Anika comes from the top. He recommended an amazing restaurant for our last evening, and sent his team to get us some of the best Moroccaine Pastries to bring home to a dear friend, and some for ourselve too. The breakfasts, the teas, the terrace, the service, the family atmosphere, I could go on and on, just go and I assure you, you will be glad you did! It was so great, my wife will go again with her sister real soon.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 2, which is one of the largest, and it has a unique dome roof with small frosted w...
