“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

Travelling to Morocco for the first time as two girls in their 20s we wanted to stay somewhere central, safe, and cheap. This riad was everything and more than we could have expected. The location is directly in the Medina district and very close to the main square which made getting around very easy. The owner is a lovely man who organized taxi pick up and drop of from the airport and checked on our stay daily. Abdull who works there is incredible. Upon our arrival he showed us around the souks, brought us tea daily, organized for a woman to come do henna for us in our room, organized a day trip to the the beach, and even walked us to a restaurant our first night and provided excellent recommendations for anything and everything until we left. The riad was incredibly clean, well kept, and comfortable. We thought we had ordered a room with two beds but instead we had bunk-beds, a couch, and a larger bed also, which was a great surprise. Everyone who works there was very sweet and helpful. The included breakfast was also a perfect addition to our wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our five nights here immensely and would not only recommend it to other travelers (even those on a budget) but would also return again on any future trip to Marrakech.

A cosy, typical, beautiful riad. The place is very clean, warm, and comfortable. The common room is very enjoyable and the tea served is delicious. The rooms are silent, clean like the rest, and comfortable, perfect if you want to be in the heart of Marrakesh to visit the city by foot, and to be close to all the souks and the main plaza. The hammam is nice, even though the ladies there seem only to speak arabic, are quite brutal; for example, in the hammam, the lady just comes in and throws water on your face without you being aware, and they sometimes hurt for massages. Manicure is nevertheless useless as the lady just nail polishes your nail; better do it at home! The hammam is still quite relaxing and enjoyable, and the rates are okay. It is very authentic, and the people in general are just soo kind. A good place to recommend (y) ! (: {I do not own the picture}

Room Tip: Choose the ones upstairs, I think there'll be less noise!

My favourite little oasis in Marrakech! The riad is a 2minute walk through little alleyways from the main market square which was really convenient. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, even with a language barrier at times. It doesn't seem like much from outside but once you enter its bright, open, colourful and full of life but still quiet and calm. Service is good, breakfast is simple but delicious and the hammam is good too although could be improved. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and will definitely be returning to stay when I go back to Marrakech.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Marrakesh this is a really peaceful little Riad hidden away in the side alleys just off the Jemaa el fna.
The staff were really friendly and helpful in navigating our way around Marrakesh. Our room was clean, the bedding was clean, only negative was that we had to share a toilet... but had our own sink and shower. :-) Room was cheap at 230dh a night, with breakfast. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

Room Tip: Ask to look around all the rooms that are available before making your choice as all the rooms are v...

I stayed with a friend for only one night because we decided to try different riad each night we're here. The place is nice and colourfull, calm, in a great location. The staff is nice and helpfull. The room was quite big and could fit 4 to 5 persons with a tv and a bathroom, only there was no toilet in the room so it could be disturbing for some people. The breakfast is simple but very good and nicely served. The wifi worked well with fast connection. I would stay here again no problem.

This place is tucked away in a quiet place in the Medina of Marrakesh, All the staff are very friendly, The rooms are great, its very clean, the Hammam is small and intimate and the girls give a very nice massage. The whole experience is peaceful, good to go after shopping in the souks.

Room Tip: all rooms are quiet, they also have dorms
