We stayed at the riad in mid February 2014. It was lovely. We had transport booked from the airport and were slightly concerned as we went through the narrow windy crowded streets and then stopped in what appeared to be a fairly poor area. We were taken off and then stood at a little wooden door, waiting for it to be answered. When the door opened, we couldn't believe it. It was beautful. Exactly as per the photos. Beautiful sunshine on the terrace. Birds singing in the garden. You didn't hear a peep from the outside world... well maybe at 05:30 when they were calling mass, but we only heard it once as we were exhausted from travelling and sightseeing.
The couple who owned the riad were extremely helpful. Provided helpful advice, fantastic food but were not at all overly intrusive.
We picked up another couple from one of the new hotels outside the walled city, on th eway to the airport and I am so glad we didn't stay there. I would very highly recommend anyone to go back and stay there above anywhere. No negatives at all.
Very happy with everything, thank you
