Step straight into the magical pages of 1001 Nights. This jewel of a riad, with its rooms all facing into a central garden courtyard, has been carefully restored and furnished in traditional Islamic style. The roof terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast, and is a sun-trap throughout the day. Service is attentive but discreet.
You pass through street markets and the Souk on the way to the Main Square, so there is every opportunity to experience the bustle of the real Marrakech.
We are so pleased that we didn't stay in the sterile modern part of town.
