Well worth booking an airport transfer as this place is hard to find. Agree with most other reviews really. The Riad is lovely, although a distance from the main square, we did not mind this.

Staff very helpful and good recommendations on where to eat and go on day trips. Love the relaxing feel of the riad and the roof terrance especially.

When we arrived, the owner said that he did not have the superior room we had booked. However, he refunded us the difference which we were happy with.

Some rooms open right onto the courtyard and not very private. Our room was on the first floor and you could hear everything. If people were chatting and drinking late there was not chance of sleeping and you also got the impression that those below could hear you sneeze.

There was a problem with our sink that was fixed quickly. The drains were smelly as others had observed. I mainly put this down to Marrakech, rather than the Riad.

Despite the above, generally, excellent value for money and we had a great holiday.

We booked to stay at Riad Jonan after reading the reviews on trip advisor and wasn't disappointed in the least. I wanted somewhere special to celebrate my 40th birthday and the Riad and Marrakech certainly hit the mark. I loved every minute from the great breakfast and friendly staff at the Riad to exploring Marrakech and all it had to offer. We stayed 6 nights and this was perfect to give us plenty of time to visit all the sights including the palaces, museums, gardens and of course wandering around the Souks getting frequently disorientated !
The Riad is in a great location and I would definately recommend it for anyone wanting to visit Marrakech

My new wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Riad Jonan was well decorated, clean, and in the prefect location for us to walk into town and enjoy the sites and food of Marrakkech. That is when we weren't enjoying the food at the Riad and relaxing on the terrace. We will certainly be going back...

We travelled to Marrakech for the first time this year and had a fantastic stay at Riad Jonan, a friendly and charming small riad in
the Kasbah area of the ancient Medina. Since this was our first visit, we were a little apprehensive about what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The location of the riad was great. We loved our bedroom with its mixture of traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful and gave us lots of advice about where to go, what to see and where to eat - the fact that the owners and their staff spoke English was also an added bonus. We also enjoyed our Moroccan meals we had at the riad and the pleasant service, as we did not want out go exploring every night. We found Riad Jonan to be a 'jewel in the crown' of this magical city and good value for money. We have no hestitation in recommending this riad to our friends and other travellers.
