Highly recommend this riad. Only 10 minutes walk from the main souks (market) plenty of excursions on offer too, but staff aren't pushy. Fresh Mint tea and pastries for breakfast, my favourite was the homemade natural yoghurt and Muslie. We got upgraded to the superior room for free. It's 30MAD for a can of French beer. The rooftop is nice to relax and catch the sun or grab some peace n quiet. The staff are happy to chat to you and try to get to know you. They are very welcoming and friendly.

Riad Jonan offers the perfect place to rest up and escape the hustle & bustle of the city. It is ideally located about 10-15 minutes walk from the main square and its numerous souks so you can always pop back during the day to relax on the roof terrace. The staff offered excellent service and were very attentive, providing delicious breakfasts and always on hand with a cool beer or glass of wine to help you unwind at the end of the day. The rooms were well kept and nice and cool and the roof terrace offered excellent views across the city as well as a nice place to relax in the sun. I would definitely recommend this Riad for anyone planning a short break in Marrakech

We had a delightful 5 night stay at Riad Jonan. The rooms were beautifully cool and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and enjoyed beers on the terrace in the evening, where we ended up spending a lot of time relaxing in the sunshine. The riad is a 10minute walk from Jemaa El Fna in a quieter area of the medina. Riad Jonan provided the perfect base to explore Marrakech and retreat from the hustle and bustle.

Arrived here and felt immediately relaxed and comfortable. The staff here are just so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were given mint tea and pastries and shown to our wonderful room on the ground floor. Beautifully decorated in traditional style. Beds were comfortable and had good nights sleep as was very peaceful considering it's in the Kasbah. Great roof terrace with fantastic views of the Atlas Mountains. I would definately stay here again. Also very nice breakfast!!! Thankyou to all.

If you want a true taste of Marrakesh then visit here. Location superb. Hassan and his team superb. Breakfast and rooftop terrace superb. Honestly don't do the big European hotel. Go here and find a little haven in the midst of a vibrant and exciting city.
.
We stayed for four nights to celebrate my 50th birthday and Hassan arranged our balloon ride amongst other things without any problems (would recommend this also)

.Unfortunately we left behind our certificates in our transport vehicle ( yes we got a certificate! It meant a lot to me as was dated for my 50th year and written in Arabic) Hassan has just posted them on to us as promised.

Thank you so much Hassan. You took the time to trace and deliver them. All staff were polite and gave excellent service . Even when we arrived back worse for the ware after my birthday celebrations a bit shame faced at around three in the morning.( We knocked on door a few times and were let in no problem)

What a lovely memory myself and husband have of the people, Riad Jonan and the amazing country. Try the food in the hotel we left it too late but did take some lunch on our last day and wished we had eaten here for our evening meal.

Would recommend here instead of an all inclusive holiday type if you want to taste good service and authentic Moroccan hospitality.

Thank you again Hassan and staff. You do a wonderful job and we have passed on our thoughts to our friends and family.

Fantastic little Riad. We organised in advance a hotel airport pick up which was easy and straight forward. We got a personal welcome from the manager Hassan who throughout our stay along with his staff were impeccable hosts and an intro to the Riad and the surrounding area. We also booked an Atlas Mountain day trip and dune buggy experience through Hassan, both of which were thoroughly enjoyable and good value for money. We were picked us up right at the front door for each activity. The rooms are traditional, we stayed twice, first 3 nights in a ground floor room which was quite small but we were hardly in the room apart from sleeping. The second stay the following week we were on the first floor with a larger room that overlooked the breakfast area. The Riad has a great roof terrace too that you can chill out on in the sun and get views over the city. Finally and my favorite part of the Riad was the breakfast, everything freshly made/cooked and you get a wide selection of filling options. Overall if I was to go back to Marrakesh I would have no hesitation in staying at the Riad Jonan again solely based on the fact that they know how to look after theirs guests!

Beautiful, quiet and central riad with amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble, all recommendations they offered were superb, and there's a delicious breakfast to start every day. Excellent all round.
