“Best place I have EVER stayed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Its offcial, this is the best place I have ever stayed. Muriel and Laurent are amazing hosts and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In most cases you would have probably had a long flight and then a taxi journey through the crazy streets of Marrakesh where its survival of the fitest! All you want to do is freshen up and relax...well, you've come to the right place when you stay here. Mint tea and biscuits on arrival where you can quietly sit at it and nibble away whilst Muriel and Laurent talk you through where to go and what to do. Finished your tea? No worries, Muriel and Laurent will get you a refill. The room was spotless and the Riad perfect. Whilst outside is hustle and bustle, here all you can hear is the water and the birds.

“Outstanding Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We chose this Riad from the excellent reviews on T.A
But to be on the safe side we just booked the first 3 nights of our 7 night stay in Marrakech

WOW! on arrival we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like we were back with good friends
Muriel and Laurent have transformed a very nice Riad into an outstanding one with their attention to detail, passion for the business and genuine desire to please all of their guests.

We had a seemless free airport pick up and departure and even got upgraded into one of their beautiful suites
The rooms were always full of fresh roses, water and fruit. The toiletries were beautiful and even the rose petals on the bed were arranged into beautiful patterns. There is tea, coffee and water available all day as is orange juice, pastries, nuts and olives etc... all freshly prepared by their friendly staff

We were 5 in our group and took us about an hour to all agree we should extend our stay with them. Unfortunately they were full (not surprising, you do need to book early) but they arranged alternative accommodation for a few nights and we happily returned for our last 2 nights

Muriel or Laurent are always around to make trip suggestions or indeed to help you with anything you might need. Airport pick up, day trips, restaurants, massage etc all arranged with a smile and without a hitch. They made life very easy for us

They are both utterly charming, warm, friendly and eager to please.
They really went the extra mile and then went another one!! We could not fault them!

We loved Marrakech and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else next time
FANTASTIC, thank you :~)

Room Tip: There are 3 suites upstairs in the Riad. If you book early you may be lucky enough to be able to sta...

“A home away from home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

My friends and I just returned from a week in Morocco. We spent our first three days at the Riad Dar Dialkoum and were most impressed with the calm and peaceful feel of the place. From the moment we arrived we felt most welcome as Muriel offered drinks and treats and indicated places of interest on a map with recommendations for restaurants in the medina. The staff are very friendly and the standard of service is high. Beyond the bed, breakfast and option for dinner, Muriel and Laurent's hospitlity includes water, mint tea, coffee and "normal" tea free of charge. They also provide delightful home made treats and snacks.
Basically nothing is too much trouble for this lovely couple (they provided transfer from the airport, ordered taxis, booked restaurants and Hammam and spa treatment appointments).
The Riad is beautiful inside with orange trees and a fountain in the area where you breakfast and dine. This is a traditional building with seven rooms which only have windows to the interior of the courtyards, so expect to put the lights on in your tastefully decorated room. The room was comfortable with plenty of soaps, shampoo and lotion in the bathroom. The only thing that marked me down from an "excellent" was a bed I personally found too firm and a curtain to my ensuite - I am partial to a bathroom door.
I would recommend this Riad to anyone who likes to feel like they are in a home away from home. It was a lovely experience.

Room Tip: There were 4 grades of rooms, the most inexpensive was quite cosy and the largest with a four poste...

“Wonderful base to explore Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Following our taxi driver from where he parked just inside the old city walls, we were delighted to find ourselves inside Riad Dar Dialkoum, stepping inside to an oasis of calm. The busy streets felt miles away but it still felt very central. Muriel and Laurent made so much effort to help us, right from the first email exchange to the day we left. We loved the food and ate there twice in the evening, the breakfasts were delicious too. The roof terrace is a very relaxing place to sit, and we had the luxury of mint tea brought to us whenever we wanted it. Setting off on foot to explore the city we realised the usefulness of its proximity to the city walls, we could use them to navigate to the main square and avoided getting lost. This was after our first attempt at walking straight into the centre and getting completely lost! A magical three days.

“Relaxing stay, very friendly people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

So glad to have found this absolute gem Riad in Marrakech. Muriel and Laurent were lovely and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.

The room was lovely and we enjoyed meals offered as well. Coffee was brought to our room when required which for us was greatly appreciated.

The environment in this Riad is extremely tranquil, a very big change from the souks outside so you get a lot of variety.

This riad partners with Easyspa which is very close by and we decided to take advantage and get a massage there on our last day. It was just what we needed.

Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Marrakech and recommend this place to others.
