“Relaxing stay, very friendly people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

So glad to have found this absolute gem Riad in Marrakech. Muriel and Laurent were lovely and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.

The room was lovely and we enjoyed meals offered as well. Coffee was brought to our room when required which for us was greatly appreciated.

The environment in this Riad is extremely tranquil, a very big change from the souks outside so you get a lot of variety.

This riad partners with Easyspa which is very close by and we decided to take advantage and get a massage there on our last day. It was just what we needed.

Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Marrakech and recommend this place to others.

“A fantastic few days away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

We’ve just come back from 3 nights at Riad Dar Dialkoum and it was fantastic.
Correspondence with the owners prior to arrival was excellent, they arranged an airport transfer for us and suggested day trips etc.. nothing seemed too much trouble. We were met at the airport by a driver, all very easy. The trip from the main road to the riad seems a little daunting: following a local cab driver into the unknown craziness of Marrakesh’s streets got the heart racing a bit but we soon arrived at the grand wooden door of the riad. Flanked by peeling painted terracotta walls, the entrance was everything you expect from Marrakesh and a riad. Behind the door really was an oasis of clam: two courtyards, one with plunge pool, a stunning roof terrace, beautiful decor throughout. We stayed in the Maleka room on the first floor. The room was a great size, wonderful bathroom, queensize bed etc.. The staff were fantastic, Muriel gave us a thorough introduction to the city, maps etc.. and tea, water was available as we wanted. We had breakfast at the riad and one evening meal there- the discovery menu. Food at the riad was more expensive than in the city but I guess that’s the price of convenience. That said our meal was excellent and they catered for my veggi wife- the only place we found that seemed to!
The riad is easy walking to the main sights of Marrakesh and is easy to find (2nd right, 2nd left!). We;d totally recommend it to anyone, we paid 100euro a night for our room which we thought was good value, but I think some rooms were cheaper. I know some riads are cheaper but we tried to book somewhere else first and they didn’t get back to us well on email. Muriel and Laurent and their staff were excellent. I should also mention click excursions whom we did a trip to the Ourika valley with- worth a look if you’re after getting out of the city for a day.
Big thanks to Riad Dar Dailkoum for making our first trip to Morocco so wonderful- we'll be back!

“Your Home in Marrakesh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Apparenty Dar Dial Koum, means something to the effect of 'Your Home' - Anyway, Muriel made us feel like we were not just paying customers, but welcomed guests. She took time to explain the city to us and took it upon herself to ensure we had everything we needed for our trip to the Atlas Mountains. The Riad is beautiful and the food so good that we ate there more often than we intended! The only problem with this Riad is deciding whether to have your breakfast in the tranquil courtyard in the shade of the orange trees or taking in the fresh morning sunshine on the roof terrace with views over the city to the Atlas Mountains! Thankyou Muriel for making us feel so at home.

“An atmospheric place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

We recently visited this Riad. Laurent and Muriel were really welcoming and so helpful. We were greeted with a Mint Tea and Pastries upon arrival. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Our room was the Malika really clean, with fresh bottled water and fruIt, which was topped up daily. The food there was absolutely lovely.

“A little oasis!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We could not have wished for a lovelier place to spend out time in Marrakech. The hosts Muriel and Laurent were warm, welcoming and full of useful information. The Riad has a wonderful atmosphere and all facilities were excellent. The food was fabulous and the location ideal for exploring the Medina and the new city. Highly recommended. Can't rave about it enough!
