Stayed for 3 nights. very quiet and tranquil, windows of rooms look out to inner courtyard so had to have curtains drawn which left room without any natural daylight. Breakfast consisted of pancakes ,which were hard, cake and bread with jam/marmalade.No coffee making facillities in room although fridge and mini bar.
If you walk back to where guards are[you will easily find ] and go left you will find a hotel on right after about a minutes walk called Palais Donab.Would like to have stayed here but probably more expensive. Can use their pool and beautiful courtyard setting for 130 D if you pay for lunch or 150 D without. Ate here 3 times and relaxed by pool on loungers.
As so hot we also spent day at Lotus Savinio, arranged by Lotus Perle. Taxi picked us up and return. Nice pool and setting with lunch and massage if wanted.
Facinating place ,2/3 nights enough and would not recommend for children.

Riad Lotus Pearl was absolutely amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you are looking for the full Marrakech experience. The riad is beautifully restored and the service is excellent. They will make you feel at home and you won't have to lift a finger. Breakfast was delicious and the proximity to the souk and the main square is priceless. No doubt would be back again and look forward to sharing this experience with more friends and family.

There are quite a lot of things to like about this little place. The staff were certainly high on my list of 'likes' - friendly and helpful, without airs and graces. However, communicating was sometimes a little slow, since their English and my French were both on the ropey side!

There's a great little hammam, which we enjoyed and the roof terrace was a wonderful place to have breakfast, which was hearty and tasty. We were only there for one night, so didn't really get the hang of how you were supposed to book breakfast but going downstairs and enquiring seemed to produce the results.

I also loved the position of this riad. You felt that you were in hidden in a little oasis amongst the bustle of Marrakech, a few streets away. Knocking on the large wooden door in the quiet backstreet and waiting to be let in was a bit of a 'childhood fantasy' experience!

I didn't think that the decor or our room were quite so successful though. It was all a bit of a mishmash - a bit of art deco here, a bit of Philippe Starck there ... and some 1970s glass and leopard skin chucked in for good measure. The decor was also a bit tatty in places.

We were in the Kennedy Suite, which was quite dark, had very little in the way of storage space and a very odd bathroom in which the only way to shower was to squat.

If you're staying in Marrakech, I whole heartedly recommend staying here. Riad Lotus Pearl boasts beautiful rooms and decor, great, attentive service level, excellent facilities. A good, central location in the medina too, not to mention the wonderfully polite and friendly staff. The manager Soufiane was always there to help with good advices. I will most definitely be re-booking on our next trip to Marrakech.
