“Calmer square to it's big brother”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

The square is not to far from the main square but is smaller and although still frequented by tourists it seems far more calmer.. Many of the shops are spice shops and it is a great spot to sit in one of the cafes sipping mint tea.

“perfect spot in the souks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

For my wife and I the Rahba kedima Square or spicy market as we call it is the perfect spot everyday in the souks. You have a few good restaurants with wifi, European toilets etc. and there is a lovely calm athmosphere with a lovely smell of spics. and inside it the hidden treasures with a lot of karpets, kelim etc. Its just a few minutes walk from the main Square jarma el fna, so quite easy to find, but then Again nothing is easy to find in the souks, but this is a good place to make your next route over a cup of mint tea and a sandwich. (or as we did also some days one of the local steet food Places nearby).

“Spices and Colors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

The smell of fresh spices and vibrant surrounding is what you get to see at Rahba Kedima Square, Marrakech. A little hard to find though, it took us a while and some asking before we could reach this market, which definitely is far better than the main Jma el Fna square. A couple of cafes that mark the place are mostly stiffed with tourists. The area offers an wide ensemble of interesting people to watch. A treat for Photographers to capture shades of humanity. The Spice market is not to be missed. Colorful handbags , hats , baskets , junk jewelries and other fancy items all sold right on the roads , on either side of the main walk.

“A calmer place to watch the world”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

If you want a break from the craziness that is Jemaa El Fna, sit back at one of the more local cafes or the well-know Cafe des Espices and watch the world go by.
