“Excellent hotel with perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

My wife was 7 months pregnant and I was concerned about the location of the hotel. It turned out to be perfect and just a couple of hundred meters away from the square. Even though it's so close, it's on a quite street with no disturbance. It is also accessible by taxi which is not always the case in other Riads. The Riad is modern yet with Moroccan decor. The breakfast was wonderful and the service was great. Nothing that I can fault with the hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Ambre deluxe double room. This is on the ground floor away from reception. It was q...

I stayed with my daughter in the Riad. We arranged a pick up through the Riad for transfer from the airport, excellent arranged, the driver was waiting for us with a sign with our name. Arriving at the Riad we were first offered tea and some sweets. In advance we arranged for dinner the night of arrival and the meal was very delicious and we enjoyed the nice Marokko wine.
Mohammed and his staff made our stay at the Riad very pleasant. They are VERY service minded and helpfull.
Breakfast was nice in the morning outside on the roof. We made 2 private daytrips arranged through the Riad. The location of the Riad is in the centre and so nice to walk from the Riad to the famous square. We had a great time. The last day we enjoyed also a spa arrangement...hamman and massage. Real nice. Our suite was also very beautiful and spacious. Mohammed and staff, thanks for making our stay so pleasant. we enjoyed it. Diane from Holland.

From the moment the driver dropped us at the Riad to the moment we left for the airport Mohammed and his staff were there to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as they could possibly make it. With only a 5 minutes walk from the chaos and heat of the square and the souks, we were always delighted to return to our Riad and its calm cool interior.
Take all the positives from the previous reviews as to my mind here were NO negatives about the place
Thank you Mohammed for making our first trip to Marrakech as wonderful as it was.
We will return to the Tahili and cannot recommend it enough

My husband and I have recently returned from our honeymoon trip to Morocco. We spent 4 nights in the Riad Tahili.
All that we can say is WOW! The moment we stepped through the door we were in luxury.
As soon as we arrived we were sat down to mint tea and Moroccan pastries before being shown to our room. We stayed in the Amber room - a luxuriously comfortable king size bed, a comfortable sofa, separate WC and wet room shower.
Breakfast was a selection of breads and pastries. We asked for some eggs and fruit one morning and were treated to this each following morning. We ate breakfast on the terrace one morning as it was sunny but the other mornings it was overcast and a bit windy so we ate in the salon.
The terrace was perfect for a relax in the evening sunshine - it was amazing how serene it was up there only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the square!
There is WIFI throughout the Riad which was useful for planning our itiniery for each day.
I had a hammam during our stay. My skin has never felt so smooth! I was a bit nervous to start with but soon relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The staff at the Riad were absolutely amazing. They were so attentive. The two Mohammed's could not have done more for us - they work extremely long hours but are always there to answer questions and greet you with a smile.
The location of the Riad is perfect for exploring the Medina and the whole of Marrakech.
IF YOU ARE VISITING MARRAKECH YOU MUST STAY AT RIAD TAHILI!

I went with my girlfriend to Marrakech and we decided to stay in the Riad. The facilities are outstanding and superb. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi during my stay there. The staff is super attentive and nice, and the owners are also quite warm and excellent hosts.

The furniture inside the Riad is amazing. The overall decoration just means one word: Cuzzy. I really enjoyed to chill out some afternoons. The staff enjoy their work and you certainly notice it in all the attention an details provided.

My girlfriend had the hammam+massage and she just returned from it with babylike skin. She was so delighted by the skills of the personnel that she was wishing to have daily hammam+massage.

The only regrettable thing about this Riad is that you could certainly wish that holidays and your time in Marrakesh never end.

The dinner at the hotel was also delicious. We, as mexicans, are used to good cuisine. We enjoyed the food (the pastilla and tajin) at the Riad. We even received one bottle of wine as courtesy of the house. We could not have been more pampered!

The location is super convenient. Everything in Marrakesh is so close, within walking distance of most important touristic attractions and about 25-30 min walking to the new city. You don't get lost while making your way into the souks and derbs. Google maps will take you home straight away.

In overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

We are recently back from 5 days in Marrakech, a really interesting city and no-where near as intimidating as I had anticipated from some reviews I had read. Felt really quite safe and staying at the Tahili Spa was the icing on the cake.

This Riad is recently renovated so it does not have the old authentic tiled and walled garden effect usually associated with Riads, but that's not a bad thing as it means that everything is done out in cool and calming white, beige and cream with matching marble tiling - and of course everything is brand new and top quality.

The beds are huge and extremely comfortable - super king size - and fitted with lovely taupe and Ivory Egyptian cotton bedding. There is an independent and efficient heating/air con device in each room (means you can control the temperature yourself not be at the mercy of the management's view of how hot or cold your room should be)

Apart from one room, Musc which has a bath, all the rooms have large walk- in glass enclosed wet rooms with large shower heads. A lot of the rooms also have a separate loo which I particularly like if only having access to one bathroom.

The staff are incredibly attentive, for instance at any time we were on the lovely roof terrace relaxing in the heat an ice bucket and litre of water would appear to help us cool off without any request being made. It's this attention to detail that sets this place apart. When we arrived our room wasn't ready (we were on the very early morning Easyjet flight and rooms are stated to be available from 2pm). However we were taking into one of the salons, provided with mint tea and biscuits by the lovely manager Mohammed and they went all out to ensure our room was ready as soon as possible - we were taken to our room at 11.30.

Mohammed is the font of all knowledge and speaks the best English at the Riad, he gladly printed off numerous Google maps for us with detailed descriptions of how to get to our destinations.

Location wise it is just a few minutes walk from the large square Jemaa el Fna which will then take you on to the souks. Crucially for anyone who has never been to Marrakech before it can be accessed by taxi so you won't spend any time wandering the back lanes of the medina looking for the entrance. If you email ahead the ever efficient manager, Mohammed, will arrange for a taxi to pick you up. We were charged 10€.

We ate at the Riad - they do not have a public restaurant on site so if you do want to eat there they do require notice by circa 4pm on the day. We didn't find this a problem but be warned the menu is limited as you would expect with them only having 8 bedrooms on site.

We took breakfast on the terrace every morning, it was a substantial continental breakfast supplemented with a couple of changes such as fresh fruit one day yoghurt another etc. there was more than enough variety of cake, bread and croissants plus fabulous freshly squeezed orange juice to satisfy most travellers. I believe you could request extras such as boiled eggs if you wished.

The roof terrace has dining and seating areas, plus somewhere to sunbath and a large hot tub/jacuzzi. We spent most afternoons there as it was a real oasis of calm away just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

On a value for money basis for the service and facilities provided I really don't think this Riad could be beaten.

Room Tip: Musc is only room with a bath, it has shower attachment on the taps but no hook for the shower head...

We stayed here for a week in March and really appreciated such calm in a bustling city. The Riad is immaculately clean and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is lovely and fresh and plentiful and served on the roof terrace. The terrace is a fabulous place to sit and enjoy the sun with a choice of sofas or sunbeds. We only ate in the Riad one evening and enjoyed the food, we would have dined there again but that is not what we do, we enjoy eating in different places everyday whilst on holiday. The staff are all really polite, friendly and very professional. I would recommend this Riad unreservedly.
