Situated opposite the Medina walls the Red House is a delightful place to stay, comfortable and spacious. We could walk to all areas of interest in under 30 mins and felt safe even at night out on the streets. As it was our first visit the manager Abdul gave us plenty of tips to make sure our stay was happy and safe. On his recommendation we had Aziz as a guide for the first morning. He was brilliant! Even though the hotel was quiet it's worth having dinner (and breakfast) in the palatial dining room. It's stunning and the food is great too. Sunny and warm every day, what a lovely time we had. The Red House offers a real treat! With only eight rooms guests are looked after extremely well by the most attentive staff. The ambiance was wonderful - and tranquil - during our 4-night stay. The hotel is delightful with a fine restaurant and a heated outdoor pool (which we had to ourselves!) The manager Abdel was full of good ideas for our little tours which were arranged, on an individual basis, with knowledgable guides (and driver) and with no fuss. It's worth mentioning that the location proved to be particularly good. It is just outside (and facing) the city wall so removed from the bustle but very handy for hailing a taxi - or just strolling into the inner part of the city.

A special word to AbdelL, the manager (who quickly booked for us a guide for a walking tour by the Medina and souks and another one - very informative - for a tour to Ourika Valley), with suitable advices and tips, to Reda, at the reception, always with a smile on his face and trying to help us everytime we need, and to Abdéssadek, an excellent and very helpfull driver, who assures the transfer from and to the airport (by the way, don´t forget to ask for the transfer when booking the hotel).

The location of the hotel is quiet good, just outside the city wall, close to the Medina and only 15 minutes walking from the Jemnaa el Fna Square.
The hotel is decorated in traditional Moroccan style, with a refreshing garden and pool,
Marvelous room, with a large and very confortable bed, fruit/local cookies basket and a botlle of water on the arrival, bathroom well equiped, with nice amenities
A generous breakfast, with a good selection of items, that we can take the time we want, by the pool, in the restaurant or in the room.
Only a minus positive item to mark: the internet doesn´t work in the room, but at the reception and by the pool is ok.
I recommend this boutique hotel for sure!

The Red house is a hidden gem in Marrakesh. Once you walk through the gates you feel like you are miles outside the city. The rooms very comfortable and the restaurant is FANTASTIC ( Even if you do not stay here , have dinner here). The best thing about The Red House is the wonderful staff, who give five star service .
