Having never been to Morocco, it took me forever to decide on accommodation - we knew we wanted to stay within the Medina, so that narrowed it down a bit. I'm so glad I opted for Riad Dar Mimouna: it's beautifully decorated in the traditional Moroccan style, conveniently located (we did not take a single cab during our stay), and staffed by lovely, helpful people. Our room (with en suite showerroom) was very nicely furnished, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace and gives you a good start to the day - it is described as continental (which I usually consider will fill your hollow tooth but not much more) but was plentiful and tasty. Use of the hammam is included in the price of the room, so if you go, make sure you experience this! Also on offer (at an additional - but reasonable - cost of 200Dirhams for 30 mins) is a full-body massage service (well worth it). The main member of staff - a young man by the name of Anis - was on hand, it seems, pretty much 24/7 and is a real asset to the property: he was very patient, helpful and kind - and made our visit very pleasant. You can, if you wish, have dinner at the riad (we did not but would definitely do so next time)...
I would definitely recommend this riad - it turned out to be all we had hoped it would be + more.
