This riad was definitely one of the highlights of our trip of 6 days to Marrakech.
Starting with the location, you couldn’t find better location, in the historical centre close to the main square Jemaa el-Fnaa, the heart of the city. The typology was truly moroccan: a house with a courtyard with a fountain in the middle and palm trees. The interiors were carefully decorated, every single detail was in moroccan style: floor tiles, furniture, lamps, etc.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; everyday there was something extra that was different: crepes, croissants, moroccan pancakes, etc.
We also had dinner there once because we wanted to have a homemade tagine. It was the best we had, unparalleled, from the starters, wine, and desert, we never had a meal like that in any restaurant.
The staff was amazing in particular Zakaria (very charming, enthusiastic and self-critical young man). He was very helpful and well informed about the city and aware of politics. He made his best to make our stay the most enjoyable.
The price per night was unequalled. We compared the price quality with other riads in the city, and we found out that the most expensive ones just had more exquisite furniture and antiques (it isn’t worth to pay for that).
We strongly recommend this riad, it offered us the most charming and authentic experience of Morocco.
