To say our stay at Riad Kniza was beyond our expectations is a glaring understatement. The owner, Mohamed, has painstakingly restored this magnificent building within the medina, very near the Bab Doukkala, with the satisfaction of his guests a personal priority. From the minute you enter, you are greeted with warm hospitality, amazing charm accented by incredible wood-carved ceilings, plaster work and intricate mosaics. That is just the first impression. Our room was magnificent, large and had plaster-carved dome over the king bed! The food was authentic, the best we had during our 9-day visit to Morocco, and presented with such care, attractiveness and warmth. My wife and I both enjoyed the hammam and massage afterwards. If you are seeking an authentic, traditional, elegant experience in Marrakech, you will cheat yourselves if you pass up Riad Kniza.
