Spent 3 nights at Riad Kniza and it was really the perfect place to stay in Marrakech. Kamal, the manager and owner was a very good and friendly host and the rest of the service staff were also very friendly and helpful. we highly recommend this place.

This is certainly not the only Riad in Marrakech, but it is quite possibly the best. My experience was uniformly excellent. The Riad and its rooms are beautifully decorated; no surprise as the owner is a well-established antiques dealer with an excellent gallery of his own (also worth a visit.)

The public ares of the Riad are gorgeous. There are several dining rooms on the first floor. There is a spa annex with a pool, hammam, and sauna. The rooftop is accessible and has dining areas as well as a garden.

The rooms have comfortable beds, full bathrooms, satellite television, a safe, and air conditioning. In addition there were small touches like flowers and bottled water that are regularly refreshed.

A generous breakfast is included, but it is also possible to dine in the Riad for lunch and dinner. This Riad deserves a special mention for its cuisine which far surpasses that of the best restaurants in Marrakech for Moroccan specialties. Meals may be taken in room, in the dining rooms, or on the rooftop.

Compliments also to the staff, who were friendly and highly attentive. They described the Riad as "your home in Marrakech" but it is not home, it is better than home.

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Morocco and Riad Kniza was without a doubt the best riad of our trip. The property is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful location just inside the Medina. But what really made this place special was the staff. The service was absolutely 5 star. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and thought of everything, from a beverage of choice upon arrival to a cold bottle of water when you depart. And the delicious breakfasts on the rooftop terrace was a delightful way to start the day. We didn't get a chance to try out the spa/hammam but it looked beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again when we return to Marrakech.

I recently stayed in a beautiful suite at the Riad Kniza with my 23 year old daughter and 19 year old son. The rooms were so beautiful and the beds so comfortable we had a hard time leaving. The bath was totally modern and luxurious with all amenities. Our stay included airport transfers and a half day guide (which we extended to a full day). All of the recommendations from the host were wonderful. They also arranged a one day tour to the Gateway of the Mountains, which was incredible. We hiked up a mountain with a guide to see no less than 5 waterfalls! The base of the mountain was in a Berber village, and our guide, Bimbo, was terrific. The driver got us back in time to pack, and meet our plane the same day. The riad was able to extend our check out at no charge, and even greeted us with snacks and bottles of water on our return. I cannot say enough good things about this riad. The location is excellent, and very safe to walk around.
