Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“so colourful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

Go early as it was busy - but it didn't matter as it was so beautiful. The shop was great too. I would go over and over again.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

Our taxi driver insisted that this was one garden we should see. And was he right! The history of the gardens is interesting with its links to Yves St Laurent. Beautifully laid out and very peaceful. The fact that there is information about the plants is helpful. A lovely cafe for coffee or lunch is set in a very peaceful part of the garden. The complimentary bottle of water that arrived with our coffee was much appreciated on a warm day. The inevitable gift shop is quite expensive but has some smaller items that are unusual for gifts. Overall a lovely way to spend a couple of hours before taking a short walk into the new part of Marracek and it's upmarket shops and cafes.

“pure beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

this is a MUST visit attraction- the garden is wonderful haven of beauty and design- which is a direct contrast to the immediate vicinity - worth the effort in going!
