Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Oasis in the Desert!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Beautifully maintained and manicured gardens. Small Berber museum showcasing intricate costumes of the tribes (unfortunately no pics allowed inside). Its refreshing to the eye especially after days of seeing the cirque du djemaa el fna.

“A little oasis inside the city...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Although a bit overpriced, this garden is a nice place to relax a bit during the day..The landscaping is nice, a mixture of different plants from all over the world. It gives kind of a surreal feeling.

“An oasis in Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

These gardens are simply beautiful - a must-visit location if you're in the city. They are beautifully cared-for and the house is also worth seeing, for the colours alone. It's worth getting a taxi there if you're in the medina as it's a little way north in the city.

“Not worth the trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

This garden is very pretty but I didn't understand the point of it. It's small and frankly, a little boring.

“A beautiful oasis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

This garden is well worth a visit. It is a little way from the city centre (I paid the taxi driver 30 dirhams to take me there) and the entrance cost was 50 dirhams. The garden contains exotic plants from various places around the world - cacti, succulents, bamboos, palms etc. It was the creation of a French artist, but later it was bought by Yves Saint Laurent.
