Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

This was a real tonic, restful, fascinating and superbly laid out with excellent "Tea Moroccan" available.

“An oasis in a bustling city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

We loved the Jardin Majorelle (Now owned by Yves Saint Laurent) - it's a little oasis in the middle of a busy town!
Water is available for 5dirham at the entrance and you can expect to see a variety of trees and plants from all over the world.

“A memorable visit”

Go, this has to be a highlight of your visit to Marrakech even if you're not a garden fanatic! Such a contrast and a wonderful palate of colour and light.

“One of Marrakech's Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Lovely way to spend a couple of hours in Marrakech. On the street the temperature was 33 degrees but as soon as we walked in all was cool and calm. My other half isn't too keen on gardens but even he was enchanted with this one. If there is a downside it is that the café was very expensive. The Berber Museum is small but well labelled.
