Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Art Deco feast for the eyes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

This is a really beautiful place. I have never seen so many different cacti - some of which look incredible lethal! The building itself is superb and the jewellery section of the Berber museum is very inventively done with myriads of tiny lights which make you feel as through you have walked through a mirror into a different world.
Nice café - though the fruit juice is hugely expensive.
The shop is a bit snooty and over priced. Also I would recommend going early in the morning because it gets really busy.

“Small but nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Very beautiful gardens, but smaller than expected and quite full of tourists. Cafe good, but pricey. Queue culture (or lack of same) at entrance annoying - apparently guides with groups of tourists (even smaller groups such as families) are allowed to cut queues to get tickets..

“Beauty and tranquillity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Other reviewers have said that it is a small garden which is true but the intensity of colour, the design, the views, the water features and the choice of planting makes this a most special visit. Worth the time and effort to walk from the medina. Take a camera and walk slowly around several times!

Try and arrive early to avoid queues at entry (it was 12.00 when we arrived)

The cafe is worth a visit
