Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Great, but far and expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

If you have a driver and guide for the day, this is a great stop, but if you have to hire a taxi and then pay the 25 dirham entrance as a budget traveler, and if you don't have a particular interest in the Berber culture or Yves Saint Laurent, then you might be disappointed, though it is beautiful. If you are going on your own, make an outing of it, and take a book.

“Nice but....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Small but nice, very tourist orientated. Gardens are pretty but pricey given how long it takes to wander through.

“A green sanctuary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Nothing to dislike; small gardens with a good variety of plants. All very well maintained to a high standard, a large team of gardeners and maintenance. Bookshop, cafe and toilets. A pleasant hour.

“nice, many tourists”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

The Jardin is nice, but smaller than I thought, with many tourists going through. Worth the visit, but do not expect too much.

“My favorite place in Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

I loved the Jardin Majorelle. What a spectacularly beautiful place and in spite of the crowds my visit was rather peaceful and serene. If you're visiting Marrakech, this place is a "must see" in my opinion. The garden is laid out very well with both tropical plants and cacti from all over the world. The electric cobalt blue paint they used throughout the garden was magical.
