Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Stunning and tranquil, a desert like oasis enlivened by the bright blue and yellow. Try lunch in the courtyard.

“Not worth the price”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

They charge 50MAD for admission, and the garden is tiny. You probably able to finish a straight walking tour of the garden in 10 min? However, since people paid 50MAD for the entrance fee, they do tend to stayed longer than what they should have.

“An Absolute Must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Located in the new city, this lovely garden will provide an hour or two of respite from the intensity of Marrakech. Take the time to visit the museum. It is small, but offers incredible insight into Berber life.

“A little oasis.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013 via mobile

If you want to see the gardens on your own and take pictures without crowds in them, go here at 8am! You will find that within 30mins the crowds start coming in. I went on the sunday afternoon first and the queue was halfway down the road. Also I missed a (very large) sign and after another 100 yards the common 'i will help you, police knows about us and we are approved' guide came out from a shelter. It is quite easy to find really as there is a big sign and there are loads of horse drawn carriages on the main road where you turn left. The garden itself is beautiful but not very large. I went around 3 times to take pictures and was out within the hour. There is a cafe there as well but as a mint tea was 5 dirham more than the entrance fee to the gardens, I decided to get that somewhere else. Definitely worth a visit and overall a great experience.

“Pretty gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Very pretty gardens, nice to keep you entertained for an hour or so. There's also a lovely vegetarian juice and salad bar at the top of the road, which is a welcome treat after eating tagines for days on end
