We did not stay-what a relief-at Anayela, but had dinner at the Flying Carpet.
The view from the terrace is horrible. The staff was very friendly and I feel badly for them, but the food was just awful. The salad was tasteless, the chicken tangine was dry and not edible.
Although we tried to skip desert, it was served anyhow. It was some pureed avocado with orange juice. Baby food tastes better.
The restaurant came highly recommended. Finding it was already a trip on its own. The location is very inconvenient. We had fantastic meals at La Maison Arabe and Al Fassia and others for 1/2 the price. This was the worst food, worst location and worst ambiance but the highest cost.
Traveler beware: do not eat at the Flying Carpet.
