“Charming riad in fantastic location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013 via mobile

This was our seventh visit to Marrakech but we have never stayed so close to the Jemaa El Fna. This beautifully restored riad is 2 minutes from the frenetic activity of the main square & the souks, but offers a haven of tranquility as soon as you enter.

The 5 rooms are stylish, comfortable & arranged around a little courtyard with a plunge pool. Breakfast is served up on the pretty sun terrace, as is dinner should you want it.
The riad is within easy striking distance of good restaurants however, & the ever-helpful resident owners will provide countless recommendations.

The whole experience of staying here feels very intimate & personalised, & we wouldn't hesitate to rebook, provided they have availability! The secret is out so I'm sure it'll be increasingly harder.

Beautifully restored 17th century Riad. Just 5 rooms - We stayed in the limone suite which was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean.Lovely patio & bar on the roof where breakfast was served which was excellent. The owners Guido & Mickael can't do enough to help & gave us all the info we needed - even directing us to a restaurant on our first evening. Its down a back lane & we did wonder where we were going but very safe & a great location, convenient for all the tourist spots & yet so quiet & peaceful. Very impressed & would certainly stay here again & couldn't recommend highly enough.

I highly recommend this 17th century riad that has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. The location is great, close to the Jemaa El Fna square and all the action. Yet despite this proximity to the hustle and bustle the riad is a tranquil, relaxing place.

It is run by Guido and Mickael, both charming and welcoming hosts. They made us feel at home and provided us with a wealth of useful information. The food served up by the Riad is wonderful too - both dinner (reserve in advance as they buy ingredients fresh) and a very generous breakfast were great.

All is all highly recommended!

Room Tip: Not a tip for the room but a tip in general. If you haven't arranged for a transfer, phone Guido...

We spent 8 days at Les Nuits de Marrakech and to say we hit the Marrakech jackpot of Riads would be an understatement. My husband and I are seasoned travelers visiting at least one new country a year and this was one of our best holidays in years.

The popular expression of “location, location, location” fits this Riad to a T. Once you are out the front door you are in the heart of Marrakech. Guido and Michael couldn’t have been better hosts and they provided us with excellent advice on how to get in as many sights as possible in our time there. One day they arranged for a private driver for us who spoke excellent English to take us on a tour of the Three Valleys. We were taken around in a spacious SUV for several hours which was money well worth spent. We enjoyed an excellent (if somewhat pricey) roadside lunch near the Atlas mountains and visited a Berber home which was fascinating. The additional guidance that Michael and Guido provided for the best shopping and places to eat was spot on.

The Riad itself is beautifully appointed and immaculate. The staff is wonderful( a BIG shout out to Isham, Fawzia and David) and the roof top dining available for breakfast and dinner is very romantic. The food was wonderful especially the fresh farm yogurt which was out of this world. It was served with every breakfast and we are sorely missing it. Michael and Guido do fresh food shopping daily so if you want dinner rooftop dining be certain to tell them in the morning after your breakfast so they can arrange for a wonderful culinary surprise.
Their cook is a wonderful Berber lady who has a way with spices that I envy. Nothing too over the top. Just right!

Ready to visit again…………………you bet we are!!

Merci Beaucoup Guido and Michael until we meet again.

Beautifully decorated riad in the middle of Medina.
Great hosts will host you with warm welcome and smiles at all times.
Guido and Michael are such hard worker and great host.
They will explain you anything you need to know to get around Marrakech.
I was first not sure to stay here since it was just two girls but totally safe
no need to worry for anything as we walked back and force just two girls in middle of the night to day. rooms are beautifully decorated in nice moroccan taste.
if you enjoy boutique hotels , you will definitely love this place.
hot water, perfect, breakfast, amazing, can not wish for anymore.
when we stayed, it was raining and we could not go out to get food , michael and Guido accomodated us at their best and was really really helpful.
I stay at more than 100 hotels per year and i can say this one was one of the best, i have stayed at. definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Les Nuits and it was perfect. Everything I thought and hoped it would be. After Guido and Michael arranged transfer from the airport we arrived at the riad late evening. I am so pleased this was arranged as we would never have found it that first night. But once shown the way to the main square it was easy to find for the rest of the stay. located in the center of the medina it was perfectly placed for shopping and enjoying this frenzied culture. A perfect place to retreat to to relax on the beautiful roof terrace and taking a dip in the plunge pool when it all got too hot. Michael and Guido are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They were full of information and guidance on the best way to enjoy the city and what to pay for taxi's, booking hammam, where to eat etc. They both made you feel welcome and encouraged us to treat the riad as a home from home. after a busy day sightseeing and shopping, going home was just the thing you need. After the second day I was referring to the riad as 'home'. Both Michael and Guido made the holiday so much more enjoyable. The riad is beautifully decorated with the most amazing ornate fret work, colours and original windows and furniture. Our room was stunning. Breakfast was sublime. A large selection of fruit, yogurt, pancakes, pastries, bread, eggs served by the wonderful Shamie who was always pleasant and had a smile for you. Oh by the way served on the roof terrace just to make it even more perfect. I would recommend everyone to stay at this little oasis in a bustling, noisy city. There were so many things that I could praise but the four things that made it for me were: the hosts, the riad, the staff and the cleanliness. If I ever return to Marrakech this would be my first option of where to stay. Thank you Micheal and Guido for a fabulous experience and sharing your beautiful home with us

Room Tip: The Marrakechi room is a very sensual red colour (great for romance) and is on the ground floor next...

We stayed here for an additional 2 nights after a 7 day tour of Morocco because we had been staying in modern hotels and wanted to experience something more traditional.
The Riad itself was very beautifully decorated. When we arrived with our local tour guide he noted that he thought the Riad was amazing compared to most of the other local Riads he had seen and thought I had made an excellent choice. Our room was cosy and comfortable but spacious at the same time. Guido was very friendly and welcoming and so helpful. He sat down with us and guided us through where we might want to visit, travel recommendations etc
The location is great just a few minutes walk to the souks which enabled us to do all our shopping easily.
Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and plentiful.
Our only disappointment is that we couldn't stay a little while longer to enjoy the Riad more.
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Marrakech.
