We have just returned from our stay at the Palacio de las Especias and words cannot express my feelings about this place and the wonderful team here. It was our first (and certainly not last) visit to Marrakech. The people here are truly unique. Genuine warmth and kindness infuses this place. The smiles, care and attention are amazing. You are made to feel like part of their 'family' and that this is your home.
The breakfasts are so tasty and good.
The beautifully decorated rooms. Spotlessly clean.
The stunning Riad and rooftop terrace where we spent many hours chilling out in the tranquility.
The attention and kindness of people working there.
Believe the reviews on this place. It is amazing. We are already preparing to return next year.
We wish the staff there health, love and happiness and look forward to our next visit.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- The Palacio de las Especias recovers the splendour of a building erected in the 19th century. The building was originally owned by the Echerid family, who were spice merchants but, unfortunately, the years and neglect had taken their toll. Today, respecting the original building, but adapting it to provide the comfort that an establishment of this nature deserves, it opens its rooms from within the heart of the Medina, in order to provide its visitors with the enjoyment and relaxation they are looking for. The decor of its rooms, the coolness of its patios, the murmuring of its fountains and the peaceful evenings on the terrace mean that resting inside its rooms becomes the happy ending to a perfect day. ... more less
