My friend and I stayed for 5 nights in Edouard's riad. We were warmly welcomed into the beautiful oasis with mint tea and cookies. We immediately felt at home and comfortable with the down-to-earth hospitality of the mangers (Martine, Bruno and of course Mourad).
The Medina can be a confusing place with it's lack of street signs and narrow, windy twists and turns. However, Mourad was an excellent navigator and was absolutely available to show us the way whenever we needed it. In addition, he is an amazing guide. He took us to a few of the places deep in the Medina we definitely wouldn't have found without his help.
My friend and I also decided to eat dinner in the riad twice during our stay, and I'm happy to say that each one was the best dinner we had while in Marrakech.
I have only positive things to say about the experience in the riad. If you choose to stay in the Medina, I highly, highly recommend Riad Dar Thalge which is as every other review describes, a little-slice of tranquility and calm in the center of the bustling and busy Medina. In choosing a place to stay in the Medina there were so many options one can feel overwhelmed. I'm confident that anyone who chooses to stay at Edouard's will be completely satisfied by the riad's staff and the overall experience.
