We hired the whole Riad for 4 days in December 2013 and were a little skeptic upon exiting the car. It is situated in old town and, having known nothing about Riad's, we thought it would look like it does in the pictures on the outside but it didn't. It is in some what a rundown area but that adds to its character. We walked through all these dark alley ways and then arrived at a gate.
We entered the Riad and were stunned that this "gem" was hidden in the "rough", it was simply amazing thinking what was on the outside.
The manager and guard are very helpful but only really speak French and Arabic so be aware of the language barrier.
If renting the whole Riad you will have to pay extra tax that they don't tell you about so be prepared to take extra Dhiram for these petty charges.
Two problems we experienced while there were that you could hear everything that happens in the Riad, from cats fighting on the roof (very loudly) and the call to prayer at about 5am.
Our other problem was that there was a strong smell of sewage in one of the rooms which was very unpleasant on the first floor which nothing was really done about.
All these aside, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this Riad.
