“Peaceful and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We wanted to take a short break to escape the London cloudy skies; Marrakech was a great choice, but i wanted to stay away from the Medina this time. Tripadvisor reviewers as always were absolutely correct- this hotel feels like a visit to a friend's luxurious holiday home- the service is discreet but personal, the room and grounds immaculate. The shower in the superior room was fantastic, and the little terrace allowed us easy access to pool side and back whenever we felt like it. Airport pick up is really nice- with welcome water and cold towels- in a rather nice 4x4, which also serves as the shuttle bus into town. Tip- as this is a new hotel, take the hotel's card so that the cab driver can call reception to get directions.

The room was large with two double beds made up to be one massive bed- incredibly comfortable bedding. There is a make up and turn down service, and this hotel sweetly helped us celebrate our anniversary with a most delicious cake. The cocktails by the pool were lovely, and the seat pads were replaced during our stay. Though the hotel was pretty much at capacity, there was enough space around the pool, in the restaurant areas etc to not feel crowded.

Breakfast is fine- interesting breads, eggs prepared to order, fresh fruit salad. Lunch and dinner were a little repetitive as the menu is a little limited.

Keep an eye out for the tortoises in the pretty gardens. And the cats who saunter around.

So enjoyed this trip- in main due to this hotel- definitely recommended for a quiet sunshine break.

Have just returned from a long weekend at this hotel and would agree with the previous reviews. The hotel is situated just outside the centre in a quiet area of Marrakech which was ideal for us as we had gone for pure relaxation and peace and not for tourism. We had contacted the hotel prior to arrival and their concierge collected us at the airport in the hotel's private car. Having someone there to meet us was very helpful. We had booked a superior room which was lovely and more than adequate for our 3 night stay. The bedding was beautifully crisp, white and very comfortable, the room was impeccably clean and smelt lovely. We had a small private terrace with seating. The pool area is very well maintained and so peaceful and the gardens are also beautifully kept. The staff are all very attentive and willing to help and they all remember you which gives the hotel a very pleasant, homely feel. Both the restaurants are very nice, the dinner one being more formal, however from a personal point of view and bearing in mind we had dinner in the hotel each night, I would have liked a little more choice of food on the dinner menu, perhaps a couple of daily specials. The food that we did have was very nice, however a couple more varied dishes would have been welcomed. The same for the wine, a little more choice would have been good. Again, this is only personal preference. On our last day we used the spa and had a facial and a massage which was very enjoyable and well worth doing. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this hotel, we would again reiterate how friendly and helpful all the staff are and how clean and beautiful this hotel is. I would not hesitate in recommending anyone visit this hotel and would definitely return again in the future.

Our first trip to Marrakech was made all the more memorable by an amazing hotel. The Mosaic Palais Aziza was a perfect balance to the souks of the Medina. We were absolutely charmed by all the staff; everyone we met there always had a smile and no trouble was too much for them. They really made us feel welcome and special. Our first floor suite overlooking the pool was gorgeous, nothing was overlooked. And the Spa, well the Spa was the real highlight. We had two couples treatments; the hammam and a massage. Sipping mint tea, wrapped in towels after a scrub down in the steam bath is amazing and highly recommended. We also loved breakfast, tucking into pancakes and breads with fig jam and honey. The location was fantastic as after a day exploring through the bustle of old town, the peaceful grounds allowed us to relax and unwind, which was a real bonus on a short city break type of holiday. The only thing we would say is the complimentary shuttle to the old town could have a couple more runs a day as taxis did start to add up after a few trips. We have recommended Mosaic Palais Aziza to our friends and will definitely go back on our next visit to the Red City. Fascinating city and a fantastic hotel!

Returned from this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago & really recommend it. Stayed at Maison Arabe on our last trip & this compared favourably though obviously not as authentic and further away but an ideal choice for escaping British weather for 5 days.

We had a Junior suite which was splendid. Very comfortable and meticulously cleaned & serviced by unobtrusive, polite staff. Front of house staff also extremely helpful & charming & spa is really good with very professional treatments. Breakfast is delicious but felt dinner menu overpriced even by London standards and a little more choice would be advantageous to management and guests alike since a trip into town (ten minutes away) is around £18 return. There is a hotel shuttle bus but last one leaves hotel at 5pm which is a bit early for those who don't want to eat till later.

This is a new hotel and of course it needs a little time to sort out teething troubles like sunbeds,
pool etiquette/management etc but all in all a very comfortable pleasing stay and would really recommend and will definitely return.

This was our second visit to Marrakech, though last year it was in a Riad in the old town, which was not quite as relaxing as we had hoped but did fall in love with Morocco.

We changed our mind at the last minute and decided to choose this hotel, we were not disappointed. We had a first floor large room that overlooked the pool and palm trees. A small little gem that offers peace and excellent service. It takes about 10 minutes in a taxi to get to the town if you enter from one of the side gates, having visited last year we were happy to relax during the day and venture in for the evening, the food on offer is just great, even for a veggie.

We could not believe everywhere looked so established when the hotel is very new, the gardens and smells that come from the plants are just lovely. Nothing seemed to much trouble even to appearing with some new goggles when they learnt my husband had forgotten to bring his.

If I did have one niggle, it was that the sunbeds where uncomfortable as the pads were too thin
but I am assured that this is in hand and new ones would be arriving.

The spa was lovely, we had two treatments mine being a salt scrub ( my husband said I looked like I had come out of a washing machine but I felt totally invigorated ) and he had an oil massage, followed by a relaxing mint tea. We will book this hotel again next year.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights at the beginning of April to escape the vile English weather and we are so glad we did. Had the best time ever!

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds - palms and roses everywhere. Just stunning! From the moment you drive through the gates, you know you are somewhere special.

We booked a junior suite (#12) which was amazing. The room was massive and complete with four poster bed and living area with fireplace (although we didn't use this because the weather was beautiful when we were there!). The decor was a lovely blend of contemporary and Moroccan which we really liked. All the fixtures and fittings are top quality. The bathroom was huge with a fabulous jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower, twin sinks, etc. Best of all was the wonderful balcony looking out onto the pool area - very large and private with lovely views. Thoroughly enjoyed reclining on the sofa out there with a glass of wine sunning ourselves.

We made good use of the spa when we were there which is first class. All the treatments we had were fab and the staff are all excellent. Special thanks to Noubila (sp??) who gave me probably the best massages I have had anywhere in the world!!

The pool area is stunning and we loved chilling by the pool. (Incidentally the weather was AMAZING - blue skies and sunshine all day every day and about 30 degrees...).

What really sets this hotel apart from many others is the staff who are quite simply outstanding. Everybody we met was lovely - excellent at their role with lovely warm and genuine smiles, from our very welcoming driver who greeted us at the airport, to the great Reception team and all of the lovely staff who served us meals and refreshments throughout our stay. Thank you!
Mr Karim: if you are reading this, you have a fabulous team of employees who really made our stay with you extra special. Congratulations to all of you!

I could go on and on but half the fun is discovering for yourselves. Don't hesitate to book it - you will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Corner junior suite # 12 is fabulous - massive balcony with lovely views and sun and shade all day r...
