“Ideal choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Returned from this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago & really recommend it. Stayed at Maison Arabe on our last trip & this compared favourably though obviously not as authentic and further away but an ideal choice for escaping British weather for 5 days.

We had a Junior suite which was splendid. Very comfortable and meticulously cleaned & serviced by unobtrusive, polite staff. Front of house staff also extremely helpful & charming & spa is really good with very professional treatments. Breakfast is delicious but felt dinner menu overpriced even by London standards and a little more choice would be advantageous to management and guests alike since a trip into town (ten minutes away) is around £18 return. There is a hotel shuttle bus but last one leaves hotel at 5pm which is a bit early for those who don't want to eat till later.

This is a new hotel and of course it needs a little time to sort out teething troubles like sunbeds,
pool etiquette/management etc but all in all a very comfortable pleasing stay and would really recommend and will definitely return.

This was our second visit to Marrakech, though last year it was in a Riad in the old town, which was not quite as relaxing as we had hoped but did fall in love with Morocco.

We changed our mind at the last minute and decided to choose this hotel, we were not disappointed. We had a first floor large room that overlooked the pool and palm trees. A small little gem that offers peace and excellent service. It takes about 10 minutes in a taxi to get to the town if you enter from one of the side gates, having visited last year we were happy to relax during the day and venture in for the evening, the food on offer is just great, even for a veggie.

We could not believe everywhere looked so established when the hotel is very new, the gardens and smells that come from the plants are just lovely. Nothing seemed to much trouble even to appearing with some new goggles when they learnt my husband had forgotten to bring his.

If I did have one niggle, it was that the sunbeds where uncomfortable as the pads were too thin
but I am assured that this is in hand and new ones would be arriving.

The spa was lovely, we had two treatments mine being a salt scrub ( my husband said I looked like I had come out of a washing machine but I felt totally invigorated ) and he had an oil massage, followed by a relaxing mint tea. We will book this hotel again next year.

I can only agree with all testimonials we read on this and other websites about the hotel, it was great : all staff VERY kind and helpful and professional, exquise restaurant for dinner, nice lunch in a gorgeous setting on the terrace next to the pool, wide variety for breakfast, comfortable rooms with high quality beds and linen and ..., nice private terrace, great swimming pool, sorry to say but I don't know enough superlatives to explain how great this hotel is !! if you go to Marrakech, go to Mosaic Palais Aziza, definetely !!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights at the beginning of April to escape the vile English weather and we are so glad we did. Had the best time ever!

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds - palms and roses everywhere. Just stunning! From the moment you drive through the gates, you know you are somewhere special.

We booked a junior suite (#12) which was amazing. The room was massive and complete with four poster bed and living area with fireplace (although we didn't use this because the weather was beautiful when we were there!). The decor was a lovely blend of contemporary and Moroccan which we really liked. All the fixtures and fittings are top quality. The bathroom was huge with a fabulous jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower, twin sinks, etc. Best of all was the wonderful balcony looking out onto the pool area - very large and private with lovely views. Thoroughly enjoyed reclining on the sofa out there with a glass of wine sunning ourselves.

We made good use of the spa when we were there which is first class. All the treatments we had were fab and the staff are all excellent. Special thanks to Noubila (sp??) who gave me probably the best massages I have had anywhere in the world!!

The pool area is stunning and we loved chilling by the pool. (Incidentally the weather was AMAZING - blue skies and sunshine all day every day and about 30 degrees...).

What really sets this hotel apart from many others is the staff who are quite simply outstanding. Everybody we met was lovely - excellent at their role with lovely warm and genuine smiles, from our very welcoming driver who greeted us at the airport, to the great Reception team and all of the lovely staff who served us meals and refreshments throughout our stay. Thank you!
Mr Karim: if you are reading this, you have a fabulous team of employees who really made our stay with you extra special. Congratulations to all of you!

I could go on and on but half the fun is discovering for yourselves. Don't hesitate to book it - you will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Corner junior suite # 12 is fabulous - massive balcony with lovely views and sun and shade all day r...

What a wonderful find. Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Firslty they allowed me to check in really early and gave me a free upgrade! The rooms are fabulously clean and well appointed and the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I enjoyed a hamman for a reasonable rate at the hotel and lazed by the pool before venturing into the old town by taxi (although there is a free shuttle to the new town). The hotel is fairly new at less than one year old, so be sure to have a map and directions to get back as most of the taxi drivers had not heard of it! Either that or book the same taxi that took you into town to take you back! The food in both restaurants was lovely and drinks (specially mixed by the talented bartender :)) added to the luxury of it all. As a regular traveller and purveyor of beautiful spas, this hotel comes highly recommended.

Room Tip: It was lovely to have the upgrade and balcony, but if you want privacy you will need to draw the cur...

My girlfriend and I booked the Junior Suite for a 4 day holiday.
The rooms were overlooking the pool side and perfect for day time sun. The room itself was excellent . We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was superb, other nights we travelled 8 or so Km into the town which was simple as reception were on hand to sort transport.
Again a trip was simply organised for us by the staff to the Atlas Mountains.
The spa downstairs was amazing with a range of treatments including a hammam /massage which was ideal for a couple.
The staff were all amazing really gong out there way to make our stay perfect, they even threw in the odd arm wrestle!
A great place to stay slightly out of the manic city.

Room Tip: Junior Suite poolside

The hotel is located in the "Palmerai" of Marrakech and embedded in a large tropical garden.

Aside everything else positive, guests will be immediately embraced by the calm and laid-back atmosphere, feeling completely being taken care of by the friendly and professional staff.

The rooms are just perfect as well as the facilities.

A perfect retreat and a feeling as being at home.

Room Tip: Junior Suite, 1. floor
