Our stay in this riad was fantastic. The riad itself is difficult to find at first so I would suggest getting a driver to pick you up at the airport and take you! But once you get inside...it's beautifully kept and traditionally decorated. My partner and I stayed in the roof garden bedroom which was very clean and cosy. It had its own bathroom and both were once again decorated very traditionally. The room was cleaned every day and was over all very pleasant.
Hamid and Lakbira, the man and woman who work at the riad are two of the friendliest people we've ever met. Make sure you learn some French, because you wouldn't want to miss out on talking to Lakbira- she is very sweet. Also ensure that you ask Hamid to don his traditional Berber djellaba and make you some of his fantastic mint tea!
The included breakfast was delicious every day...traditional Moroccan pancakes (msemen), sweet breads and cakes, apricot jam, mint tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. The bread was always still hot as it had just been brought from the bakery a few doors down (which is also worth a trip to see how the lovely bread is made).
When we return to Morocco (which we most certainly will), there is no doubt that we will stay at this riad again...it very much contributed toward me falling in love with Marrakech!
