Great place to haggle with the locals! Lots of things to see and do. Could spend all day walking around. Lots of good restaurants and stools to eat from. 'The real Marrakech'!
The medina of Marrakech is a pulsing, vibrating, thing of wonder to behold and enjoy. Still alive with Moroccans, and so big that even with the enormous growth in tourism of the past few years, it has lost, little, if any, of its authenticity. What a great thing to have so close to Europe, that a short flight to Marrakech can give you something that is so radically different than a daily European life that it is completely de-stressing.
authentic and teeming with life, do not miss it, go in the evening when the whole of Marrakech is there, no need to ask the way, just follow the crowd
Everythings on sale and negotiable. Bargain hard and then half it ! The shopkeepers are relentless so avoid eye contact and ignore every word or they will sell you something before you know it. Great fun !
