If I'd had to rate this place based on our first visit there I would have given it 4 stars, which is not bad. The place in itself is very nice, very African, wonderful deco, though it could use a little dusting here and there. First time we went, the food was good yes, but not more inventive or delicious than the other great restaurants we had already tried at this point in Marrakech. But 3 days later we went back because we loved the wine we had there and couldn't find it anywhere else (Moroccan Syrah wine - S de Siroua). We didn't want to leave the city before enjoying it again. This time around the food was simply amazing, in fact my best meal in Morocco. The entrée 'ocean fraîcheur' with its mouth-watering display of a smooth guacamole, delicious prawns, fruits and mesclun salad) and the wonderful 'sole mille-feuilles' cooked to perfection made my day. Exquisitely presented too. One small drawback, the service is so, so. The waiter (same guy both nights) was confused and didn't manage very well. We had to wait 45 minutes between the main meal and the dessert... I'd still go back though. I'd run to it actually.
