Talk about the bizarre bazaar..... think every sound and color and labyrinth you've ever been in and multiply it by 10..... 'that's' the Marrakech Souk. Between the snake charmers, and the food stands, the piles of colored threads in one kiosk next to the piles of colored shoes in the next one, next to the colored hand woven blankets in the next and you get the idea of the overload of sensory sights. It's amazing!. Just hold on tight to your purses as my husband had to chase the very tall young man whose hand was trying to rifle through my big purse. (didn't get anything though).. Always smart to have zippered sections in your purses. Enjoy, and know you will get some fantastic bargains. the street food is fine and very tasty. Even the gypsy ladies selling bracelets have great deals (even if they don't take no for an answer very easily).. I actually wish I had bought much more from them as I get many compliments on the one and only bracelet I bought.
