Some amazing little shops here! Wish I had longer to spend time. Be careful of your pockets, bags and your hands you will be accosted and they want to take you to show you their shops, jewellery and try to do a henna on you which you will then be demanded to pay a ridiculous amount of dirham for! Avoid eye contact and you'll usually be left alone. If you don't want anything then don't how interest.
Shopping wise, the fakes are good and most of the shopkeepers are pleasant. Yes they want you to buy and will hassle you and expect you to barter but they have nothing else to do - this is what they do everyday for a living. It's all part of the experience and the stuff is nothing like you get anywhere else. Try the fresh juice - I got grapefruit and my friend got mixed - they are delicious. Street food is much better than any restaurant here. I will go back.
