“Great little muesum by Bahia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Make sure not to miss this place if you're going to Bahia Palace. It can be a bit tricky to find, as it's down a side street. The museum is full of artefacts not only from Morocco but all over North Africa. Admission includes a booklet with information on the artefacts in each room. The building itself is also a great example of Moroccan architecture. You could spend a long time here if you want to read all the info they have available, or just cruise through and enjoy everything at face value. Either way it's well worthwhile.

“Well-organized, intelligent museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

The Maison Tiskiwin is most unusual as a museum and it is well worth visiting, if only for the wealth of materials available on the area around marrakesh and the grand circle of the berber trails, which passed as far south as the Niger. There are implements from several African tribes and a well-written documentary approach to the different rooms takes the visitor on a journey through the mseaum as if it was also a journey around Western Africa. This museum is the home of noted anthropologist Flint, who still lives in Marrakesh.

“Endless Berber history and artefacts....worthwhile visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

You'll need some directions to find this fascinating museum of Berber life. The building itself is a traditonal design. Its worthwhile visiting as part of a guided tour.

“Perfect for the anthropologist in you”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

This Berber museum belongs to the Dutch anthropologist, Bert Flint. It is located in his riad, in the southern Medina. The collection is vast. On the entry you'll be given a guide to read as you walk trough the rooms. Very interesting and a must see.
