“A unique collection of Morrocan and African artifacts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

A unique museum set in a house in the heart of the Medina with an excellent and wide collection of both Morrocan and African artifacts. Just wander around the museum and enjoy. The only disadvantage : labelling of exhibits, sculptures etc is limited,

“Enjoyable and interesting anthropology.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Intriguing museum with interesting collection arranged to present a view of life for various tribes and nomadic groups. Information available in English as well as French, not sure if available in Arabic. Really enjoyed wandering through this museum and the large amount of information available to supplement the exhibits. Unfortunately it closed for lunch while we were there, otherwise we wold have stayed longer.

“Tiny yet delightful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Off the beaten path but a charming and interesting small museum. Worth the walk and the search to find it. Other good places nearby as well.

“A real rabbit warren of fun.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

It is a must to walk through the souk, but it is probably inevitable that you will get lost in the narrow winding streets! There are different areas for different businesses, for example metal work, leather work, food, shoes, wood work, tailoring etc. But it really is a fascinating place to see and haggle in.

Once you find this gem you won't be disappointed! Fantastic to see some of the past history. Difficult to find as not well signposted.
