We have just returned from a wonderful stay here over Easter (2013). Our boys (13 and 8 and hard to please) enjoyed the magic lessons (yes, magic lessons and they actually leaned some cool tricks!) organised by the hotel - in fact the whole hotel was magical! It is an amazing place - just stunning - and the staff are the sweetest people you could ever wish to meet. We have been to many of the top hotels in the world but this one certainly stands out as one of the very best. They obviously genuinely care about every detail. The (rather glamorous) owner comes to your table each night to check that you are happy - very charming. Other highlights: cookery lessons for the kids (which they loved and then ate!) , food served fresh from their huge gardens, real fireplaces in the bedrooms and real fires lit for you at night (on request) good internet throughout the hotel, classic Moroccan architecture and decor - beautiful carved wooden doors and pretty coloured limestone steps and walls - all traditional. Lots of swimming pools dotted round he gardens.... As I say, just a really magical place. A perfect, tranquil retreat and yet a short taxi ride to the main main square - and beautiful weather too :). We have tans.
