“A place to visit to discover what "islam" means”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2014 NEW

The Madrasa needs some work done in order to preserve the place or to turn it into a even more attractive place to visit. But, all in all, the Madrasa is a must-see because one is plunged into the spirit and architecture of islam and the precepts that are coming from a non-christian place to study the Q'ran and life.

“Little bit let down.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2014 NEW

I was let down by this attraction as I was told my so many people to visit it, however there was only 2 or 3 rooms, including the museum, worth looking at. Worth going to look at all the student rooms and for a bit of a photo op.

“Expensive, but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2014 NEW

At 60DH it is not a cheap entry, and we were disappointed when we went around the museum section to find that all the descriptions of artefacts were only in Arabic and French. Surely enough English-speaking visitors go to make it worth their while adding a third language.
Anyway, the exhibits are good and worth seeing, even if we couldn't make out what they were. However, when we went across to the school building, this made the entry fee worthwhile. It is fascinating to see how the school was laid out, and to explore all it's little corridors and corners. It would have been even better had there been explanations as to what everything was, but just wandering around was fun. A cultural experience.
