Beautiful building, well worth a look. It is also a great photo opportunity as there are lovely internal windows.

“Beautiful and peaceful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

It's a little difficult to find the Medersa but worth a visit. As tourists can't go into the mosques in Marrakech, this is the perfect place to experience the spiritual and cultural side of the area

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

A truly stunning building, where colourful tiles blend with warm terracota tones, and the contrast between the blue sky and cool courtyard make for some great photos. Explore the rooms where scholars once sat and savour the coolness and stillness. If you've seen the film 'Hideous Kinky' you'll recognise that the Medersa was used as the place Julia went to find enlightenment in Algiers.

This madrasa has beautiful architecture, the tiling, the courtyard, the woodwork, the ceiling, the plasterwork, everything is just perfect.

A must visit if you are in Marrakech
