We spotted this gem on the site and only has 3 reviews we thought looks interesting we will give try for lunch well got to say knocked out by service and food was fantastic at a great price I had mamas chicken and my mate had rasta chicken both looked and tasted great would absolutely recommend to all this is a hidden gem don't miss it

Mama Africa is just about the most relaxed cafe I have ever visited. There's good reggae music playing and very interesting artwork. The food is an interesting mix...salads, wok dishes and sandwiches, all at VERY affordable prices. Wait staff can be a little show, but are friendly and attentive to your requests. The food is yummy, especially the salads which are served in big olive wood bowls. This is a great place for an affordable and filling lunch.

Mama Afrika is a great place for lunch or dinner. Prices range from 80 to 150 Dirhams for a main course and the portions are both generous and nicely presented, some on wooden platters. Their mixed fruit cocktails are delicious. The cafe prides itself on being quite African in it's decor and is comfortable both inside and out on the pavement. They play reggae music and the staff are eyecatching in being a wee bit different than the "usual" Moroccan look (deadlocks and funky clothes). Attentive and friendly waiters make for a relaxing and enjoyable meal in Gueliz just off Avenue Mohammed 5, down the same street as the Diamont Noir club.
