“The loveliest little Riad in Marrakech.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

A little Riad with BIG hospitality, a really highlight of our stay in Marrakech.

The facility was exceptionally clean, quite, stylish and located close to Jemaa el Fna square.
Our stay at Riad41 was very pleasant: friendly staff, gorgeous breakfasts and two great hosts, Mark and Marina. Well done guys, keep going on this way.

For sure this will be our first choice for future trips to Marrakech, you just can't help falling in love with Riad41!

Everything was just PERFECT! It is a marvelous experience to stay in this lovely Riad. Mark and Marina are a lovely couple who own the hotel and they made our stay absolutely amazing. Breakfast was delicious and everything is homemade, the kind of service ones gets in this Riad is unique and impossible to find elsewhere! My husband and I had a great time, we felt at home. Every detail of this place is just beautiful, from the food to the decoration of the rooms and the Riad itself. If you want to experience a VIP service and a unique concept of a Riad, this is the place for you! We love it and will come back here, for sure!

The most beautiful Riad moments from the main square that has the most calming atmosphere. All the team are extremely friendly and always on hand to offer you anything that you need. It is very easy to find which definitely helps after a day shopping in the Souks! We are already planning our next trip back and we have no doubt where we will be staying....RIAD 41!

Room Tip: All the Rooms are great!

Our stay in the Riad 41 was marvelous. The owner Marc Kaplan and Marian gave as a wonderful time. With lot of local charme and explanations about the area, shopping, food and entertainment. Amina, a queen of Maroccain dishes, pampered us with delicious food from morning to evening sometimes served on the wonderful terrace or in the cosy eating space in the patio. Compliment for the excellent taste all over the Riad and the warm hospitality around our stay. Hope to come back soon.

Room Tip: We had apartment 1 and 2. Both were comfortable and cosy. Apartment 1 has a wonderful bathroom with...

Such a great place, very intimate, friendly and very professionals and excellent position to really enjoy the Medina in Marrakech. I really suggest that place also for the enjoyable food which is among Maroccan and European.

You cannot fail to be impressed as you are welcomed into this outstanding boutique Riad. The outside hustle and bustle of the medina melts away once you step into this oasis of calm.
The owners Mark and Marina are the perfect hosts and they welcome you with a genuine warmth, that is coupled with professionalism and a great desire to please.
Before we arrived Mark had arranged for us to be collected from the airport. He was able to advise on all aspects of our trip including restaurants, excursions and currencey. All enquires to Riad 41 were answered swiftly and it helped us to perfectly plan our trip.
This first class service continued throughout our trip with Marina personally walking us through the Medina on our first morning, so that we became familiar with the area. Later our hosts walked with us to restaurants at night and they looked out for our every need. On that note, the Medina is a warren of alley ways and shops and restaurants, that may at first seem a little confusing, however you find your way around so quickly and everyone is very friendly and helpful should you need directions. Marrakech is very busy and exciting but I never once felt unsafe or threatened anywhere in the town. The locals speak excellent English or French and they are very enthusiastic and willing to please.
Riad 41 is opulant and decorated beautifully throughout with fresh flowers, roses and candles adorning every room, giving it a very romantic feel. The dining room off the central courtyard is intimate and cosy and the food served is delicious, fresh and prepared to order.
We ate dinner there on the first evening and the food was top quality and served as in any top restaurant. We chose a menu and wine before arrival and it was bliss just to freshen up after travelling and immediatly relax into the riad. All dishes are explained to you and the food is very healthy, fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed hearty breakfasts of home made pancakes fresh fruit salads, cheeses, pastries and traditional preserves. At every meal we were always offered more and we could have had omlettes and eggs daily as well.
The sunny roof terraces are stunning and a great place to relax during the day with a beer or glass of wine. Although the Riad does not have a bar, they will get you anything you wish to drink and the wine and beer are great quality-you just have to ask.
We enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea, pastries and fresh fruit smoothies every afternoon on the terrace. Fresh towels, sunhats, and magazines are also provided for you.
We stayed in Suite 4 which enjoys its own privacy up on the terrace. A gorgeous and romantic room decorated in cream and gold. The adjoining en-suite is equipped with bathrobes and a great range of luxury bespoke toiletries, all sourced in Casablanca by Marina. The shampoo was the best I have used and Marina has arranged for a supply to be sent out to me in the UK!
Every evening after dinner, we returned to our room to find the bathroom cleaned, all the towels replaced, the bed turned down and candles lit within the room and at our door outside on the terrace. Such service was an unexpected delight!
I whole heartedly reccomend Riad 41 and its wonderful staff to anyone wishing to visit Marrakech. It is is such an exciting and vibrant place to visit and whilst you could stay in a big hotel chain within the new town area, staying in a riad in the heart of the Medina is a faboulous experience and the best possible way to experience this magical place. I feel very lucky to have found Riad 41 and to have visited wonderful Marrakech!

Room Tip: Room 4 is romantic and private.
