We stayed about six nights at Riad Aloes. The location is perfect, close to all the action of the Place Jemaa el Fna, and a short walk to the Ville Nouvelle. The riad itself is a bit away from larger streets, and you can sit quietly on the terrace without hearing the normal night time noises.

The rooms were clean, the service was perfect, and the breakfast was always fresh.
I’d stay here again.

You stay in the heart of the medina and the souk in a quiet place! Take a taxi to the gate and then a "luggageboy" for 20 mad / 2 euros to the riad (5 minutes walk).
There is a familiar atmosphere in the riad and all are very kind and helpfull. Try the dinner - its delicious!
We felt very happy there and would come back any time!

When you cross the door of Marrakech you can forget the stress of the square. Very close to the main square of the city. Just 5 minutes on walk.

Riad Aloes was absolute perfection! Amazing service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, tasty complimentary breakfast, and great prices are just some of the wonderful reasons to stay here. Olivier (owner) was a lovely host and stays in the riad so is always accessible if you need anything. There is a lush 2nd floor terrace where you can enjoy a tan or morning coffee, and there is Wi-Fi in the lobby. Cold beer is available, and of course, all rooms are air-conditioned (which is a must in Marrakech). Only issue is you are not given a front door key so you must knock to gain entry to the lobby. However, would return to this riad in a heartbeat! Thank you Olivier and Abdul.
