“Unforgettable stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

We just spent 4 days at PALAIS NAMASKAR MARRAKECH and it was too short....
An hotel magic , unique and exclusive, i mean, for example, there is room by the pool, and you are never close to an another guest.
Excellent food, spa and fitness, everything is perfect.
Friendly and efficient staff.
A DREAM VACATION.

MANYTHANKS .Looking forward to see you again.

BENE AND PIERRE.

Time has just flown since we've been back but not one day has gone without me thinking I had left part of me there, the sense of belonging is so powerful! You probably have heard of the legendary Moroccan hospitality, well, we think it all originated at Palais Namaskar! It was about time I shared this with you all as such bliss must be experienced at least once in one's lifetime.
Really, everyone there is just so effortlessly in tune with your wishes, with your whims even that you end up wondering whether you knew what happiness was before that.
Sheer unaldurated pleasure; after a full day of the Palais' pure tranquility and the sun's wonderfully envigorating light try room service one evening looking out of your bay windows onto your own private pool, all magically lit up to allow your mind to wonder off into the night whilst the fire is blazing in your own chimney!! I cannot wait to return, no other place on earth has ever had this effect on me! Thank you so, so very, very much

We stayed for 4 nights as a special birthday treat and it was indeed memorable. The hotel is located about 20 mins + (depending on the traffic) from the city centre but we liked this as it felt like 2 holidays in 1 - the hustle, bustle, sights, sounds and smells of the Medina and the souks and then returning to the calm, tranquil luxury of the hotel. The rooms are huge with lounge (including wood burning stove not needed as 30 degrees!) bedroom, dressing area and massive bathroom with twin walk-in showers and Bulgari toiletries. Also lots of outside space with rear garden, front terrace and private jacuzzi - we didn't feel the need to use the communal pool although it did look lovely. We tried both the restaurants; the Thai was good and the French food was beautifully presented but we couldn't find many things on the menu that we wanted to eat so didn't go twice, also the chairs and tables are very low and therefore uncomfortable if you are tall! (we ate out twice in very good traditional Moroccan restaurants in Marrakesh). Breakfast and lunch in the hotel were both excellent particularly the plat du jour and we enjoyed some good Moroccan wines. The gardens and walkways over water were beautiful by day and night (candle lit) along with the fragrance from the jasmine etc, it was a pleasure to wander round the grounds. The management team were exceptional, very welcoming and you felt that everyone genuinely wanted you to have the best stay possible. It is expensive but this hotel stands above most other 5* hotels we have stayed in and we are already looking for an excuse to return!

Just arrived from a few days in Marrakesh.

We had a marvelous experience at Palais Namascar.

The staff was just amazing and the hotel unforgettable. (the lighting of the hotel gardens is amazing!!!!)

We tried the SPA and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences ever. You should try the Hammam.

The restaurant was very good!

We cant' wait to come back again!!

we celebrated the 40th birthday of my wife couple of weeks ago and decided to stay 3 nights at Palais Namaskar
it was our first stay in Marrakesh, everything, every detail was expetional, location, product and service
Our pool villa was a heaven within a heaven (order the curry crab sandwish from the room service!)
The breakfast by the main pool is outstanding, let yourself be guided by the staff which is trying to fullfill each single of your expectation. The refined dining experience left memories, the Tai cuisine is a regale and again the service attentive to every details
The hotel grounds, gardens and pools are magical, and last but not least, the Management of the Palais is always making sure that you would want to come back

to make it short, once at Palais Namaskar you may completly forget to go to the city...but in case take one of the limo at the disposal of every client and you will find yourself dowtwon in 20mn

Room Tip: Pool villa 9

My wife and I spent 4 nights over Valentine's in Feb 2014. The room was fantastic with its own pool and the size of our suite was in truth bigger than we needed. Which is rare for hotels. The gym was very well equipped and little used so was great for us. Staff were very attentive and helpful although if you rang and asked for more than 1 thing then the second was often missed. We only dined here on our stay which was unusual but the food and service were excellent and the Namaskar breakfast was legendary!! 25 minutes from the city which may bother some but we liked it that way..

It is difficult to imagine a hotel that could possibly ever live up to the Hotel du Cap. But somehow those clever people at Oetker have managed to create yet another masterpiece. The photos on the website, although beautiful, do not even begin to capture the charm and serenity of this Palais. Service, as I expected, is second to none. One can feel the genuine warmth and care effuse from everyone who works here. The food is exceptional. But it is the peace and tranquility that is almost deafening. The sound of the birds, the gentle breeze, the vast expanses of perfectly clear water creating a haven of natural beauty. It is inspired in its design but not overdone anywhere. The thought that has gone into ensuring nothing disturbs the natural calm is a lesson in empathy.
I have always loved the yin and yang of staying outside of the craziness of the old town and only dipping in for a few hours every evening, but this hotel has just heightened that experience to an even greater contrast.

Wherever you are in Europe, you will find it difficult to imagine that this is but a few hours away.

Thank you to everyone who created this place. Your care and attention to detail is appreciated. Time is the most valuable commodity and your time has greatly enriched mine.
