This is a four year old course and at this stage it feels it. The fairways are quite good in places but very dried out and parched of grass in others. This is surprising as the course has huge water reservoirs for irrigation that form major water hazards on a few holes of the course. The course design is quite reasonable and some holes are pretty tough. The worst aspect of the course are the bunkers that are appallingly bad with hardly any sand and coarse stony bases. It is almost impossible to play a proper sand shot out of most bunkers. The greens are pretty good and well maintained. As a course I found this the least enjoyable of the four I played in Marrakech. The best of these was Jack Nicklaus course at Samanah Golf Club (not listed at this time by Trip Advisor) that was a great challenging design with excellent bunkers and greens. The fairways however were someone parched and did not have good grass in many areas. The other course that was good was Marrakech Royal Golf Club where the fairways were lush and ideal for hitting fairway woods.
