The Cesar Resort & Spa was a decent base for our trip to Marrakech. Only a short taxi ride into the heart of the city but provides some much needed peace and quiet away from the manic roads and markets around the Medina. Make sure you haggle with the taxi drivers otherwise you could end up paying a fortune to get about. We paid between 10 and 30 Dirhams to get to the Djemaa El Fna.
The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay and provided a decent breakfast and an immaculate room. The main pool is small but is a lovely area to relax with a book. The two outdoor pools are not heated and are very cold which wasn't ideal and the Spa pool would benefit from being a lot warmer. There are also some tacky elements that the hotel could do without e.g. empty bottles of Moet lining the pool side of pool by the bar.
All in all we very much enjoyed our stay but a few small improvements would turn this good hotel into an excellent one.
