A beautiful Pattiserie and Cafe on one of the wierd streets in the the French Quarter... part tatty beyond beleif part up market shops.. best pastries in Marrakech? lovely stff... as with the best restaurants don't worry about what's next door!

This bakery is a real treat. We went to buy a box of the tiny Moroccan cakes we had seen in restaurants and for sale in the Medina.
The bakery has a lovely clean and modern interior and the service is great too. We were able to individually pick our pastries from the display cabinet and they were boxed and priced by weight.
The rest of the display cabinet had beautiful cakes and pastries, but we didn’t have time to sample any of them.
So if you do head into the Gueliz or Ville Nouvelle neighbourhoods – Amandine is a must. Perfect for lunch or to buy pastries for the hotel or as a gift.
